Stopped by here while we were waiting on another store to open. So glad we did! Such a cool grocery store with LOTS of free samples! The bakery and their selection of baked goods was impressive! I got the huge apple fritter, strawberry pastry stick and a maple bacon donut. All delicious! Also picked up cheese curds and potato wedges from the deli and they were delicious! Will definitely stop by again when we’re in town. Prices were very affordable too!

The traditional rueben and steak Philly in their fresh sandwich shop were amazing. Decibel going back to get the old fashioned ice cream and detwilers pizza. We also had their dulce de lech donut, maple bacon donut. Both phenomenal.

Best grocery store! Amazing business model with friendly and well trained staff. Ice cream parlor, great produce and meat selections, and enormous bakery and hot items (also the sushi is great). Great local honey, coffee and more. Sandwiches are better than Pub subs — don’t come after me. Wish there were many more of these grocery stores across Florida.

Love the selection of fruit and vegetables in Detwilers and the fish and meat section is fantastic, always lots to choose from. We normally include lunch while doing our shopping, however on our last visit my husband was eating his chili and found a large piece of broken plastic in it. When he brought it to the ladies at the checkout desk they just blew it off and never really said much. A little disappointed but hopefully they check their soups more now.

All the Detwilers has a high number of people in and out, and these stores are kept clean and in order! Veggies are always fresh and rotated stock. The meat (varieties) like quail and wagu. The seafood, meat, and deli counters are well managed. Bakery has a wide variety of breads and deserts. Of course, you can order hot pizza or sub sandwiches to eat before you shop and a place inside to sit and eat your sub. Oh, the ice cream counter is a nice treat when I am done with all my shopping.

I really like this store. The meat prices are good. They carry Hudsonville Ice Cream which being a Michigan brand is hard to find in Florida. The aisles are wide and handicap (wheelchair) friendly.

Great store for fresh food. Fresh vegetables, berries , and fruits galore. Imagine walking in and you instantly are blessed with the smell of fresh strawberries. I'm sure they put them at front on purpose. Bought fresh sea bass and gulf jumbo shrimp today. I'm committed to shopping there from now on.

Detwilers is my go to for fresh fruits and vegetables. They always have a large selection of different apples and fruits. The prices are also good. I love the selection of local goods too. Store associates are very friendly and helpful. The store is almost always very busy.
