Amazing job! My yard started out as dirt and gravel and in a month I had lush green grass. Their team leveled out my yard, sloped it slightly away from the house, removed many tree stumps, added mulch around a few trees to make it look nicer, and they even leveled out my above ground fuel tank that was sinking into the ground. Down to earth landscaping walked me through everything and followed up to ensure I was satisfied.

Wonderful team and crew that were friendly, professional and produced excellent results. Thank you

Calvin, Nick and the crew do the quality of work that is hard to find nowadays! These guys were tasked with excavating and sealing the foundation; back fill, compaction and e-chips out to a French drain that I discussed with Calvin to have the appearance of a dry creek bed. Our front door concrete slab was replaced with a larger slab with a custom rounded corner. Also involved , reclaiming a lawn destroyed from a septic replacement. Hydro seeding done on both front and back lawns. The French drain is EXACTLY what I wanted! We highly recommend DOWN TO EARTH LANDSCAPING!

We recommend Down to Earth to everyone! They turned our overgrown, uneven, clay backyard into a beautiful, level, green backyard. They also poured our recycled asphalt driveway and it came out amazing. Calvin and his team did a great job!

We had downtoearth landscaping come out and evaluate our beautiful lot and home for some driveway solutions and others needs. the original owner of the home had done some amazing lot improvements and our driveway and car port areas were hard pack with D1 and really didn't need anything done other than with our four little kids my wife desired asphalt so they could ride their bikes and track less dust inside. when pat came out he gave me the option of recycled asphalt and i was told it would pack down firm, it is a great replacement for asphalt, could be plowed, etc... all the items that concerned us. he gave us an estimate of 20-25K. we pondered it a long time and looked into it with others who know what a recycled asphalt project should look like. we went ahead and chose pat for the job. he placed it and immediately is was a wreck as we could easily dig through the asphalt to bare dirt. pat came and evaluated and said he must have got a bad batch. he originally said he was going to replace it but instead just put some more of the same on. he said give it a year to compact and settle. well here is the end result. i can dig through to the compact dirt, there is literally gravel everywhere, my vehicles spin out going up my driveway in the 4" of gravel, there is no solid compaction, the kids have difficulty riding their bike up the hill, black sand is tracked all over our home, and its a downright 110% failure. we have tried all means to communicate with Pat to find a resolution, which included: having him remove it all so we can go an alternate route with another company that has agreed his product has no binder and or fines, we have asked him to redo it, have asked him to share in the costs to remove it. All of which pat has declined and said he has completed his work. see for yourselves the gravel pit. i will also post other pictures to show you the quality of pats work on the flat surfaces and where he left it less than an inch thick in many places which is now bare dirt. buyer beware here. many times in life things don't work out. we spent a significant amount of our savings to improve our home and investment and we are left a lot worse off than we started. we had hoped pat would take responsibility for his actions and replace it when he can easily see where it is faulty. he only cares about your dollar.....i would go with other options for north pole and fairbanks. not the size of the particles and lack of binder or filler. the only thing pat did accurately was say his product was bad... but ironically has done nothing about it.

Calvin, Nick and crew were phenomenal at taking a blank canvas and creating a beautiful yard to be proud of. We had massive mud from being a new build and it was amazing to watch them create an actual yard, going above and beyond our expectations. We appreciate all the attentiveness to our project and would highly recommend them.

I truly cannot day enough to express how wonderful Down to Earth Landscaping has been. They came out to give an estimate and were very professional from the very beginning. They gave us a very reasonable price quote and helped us make our dream yard come true after building our new home and having to start from scratch. All of the yard work was completed in one day and we have about an acre of yard space they had to cover. As well as reconstructing our driveway and building a pad for our shed. We could not believe how good the quality of work that was done by their team in one day. Then they came back a few days later when the weather was right to hydro-seed the entire yard! The entire experience was wonderful from start to finish and we are extremely grateful for their professionalism and the quality of work they provided.

Pat and the whole Down to Earth Landscaping team are simply amazing! Pat came out and did a very thorough walkthrough with me and explained everything in detail about what was best for my home and yard. They knocked it out of the park and my wife and I can’t wait to see the kids playing in the grass and running around our new yard! Thanks Pat and the whole team for exceeding our expectations and giving us a great price.

Our backyard is now leveled, with enough slope to provide good drainage. The crew built a sledding hill and a graveled play area for my grandchildren. We are waiting on warmer temperatures for the grass seeding. I couldn't be more pleased.
