A very nice little shop with tons of fabrics in all sorts of colors that are roughly organized by color. They also have leather pieces in a bin. They have handmade soaps near the door, too. It was very clean even while they were in the middle of some construction or remodeling, not sure which. Smelled good, too, but it may have been the soaps, lol.

My only complaint is that we had to wait a while to get checked out, and then the card reader at the counter didn't work 3/4 times. The owner made a comment about young people never using cash anymore, but it's 2023, any shop should have a reliable card reader unless cash only is a feature of their store. Anyway, it was easily remedied for us by walking a little ways down to the other half of the shop by instruction of the owner, where his son, who was very pleasant, finished the transaction in the garden center.

Overall, a good experience, but they should really get a decent card reader. The owner and his son seemed kind and were mostly helpful, and it's always nice to support local shops.

Came here to get some fabric for my couch in my rv and I went to the perfect place. The owner was SO HELPFUL! And so nice! The fabric choices are amazing- so many great ones to choose from that you wouldn’t find anywhere else. I will definitely be going back every time I need any type of fabric! Check them out! This place was so wonderful. I needed fabric in a pinch to do a makeshift curtain for a stage. The lady working there was SO HELPFUL, helping me pick out a fabric with a good sheen to it that would also drape well. It turned out fabulous, and I heard many thanks for making the stage look so nice for the school's event. I will absolutely be coming back to them anytime I need fabric!

The mums I bought are gorgeous! Thick with blooms and buds. The plants, herbs, and veggies I get here year after year are consistently high yield and hardy.

If you are looking to start a garden you need to get to Downing's! Family owned and operated and they always have such gorgeous plants and veggies. Not to mention they have an amazing assortment of fabrics you could get lost in. Love this business and what they do for the community.

Very knowledgeable staff,they took the time & explained how 2 start my 'mater plants. Their starter plants are in better shape than those of a local building supply store. Their prices are better also.

Found the perfect fabric for a project I am doing. When trying to find out how much fabric I was going to need the employee “Shelby” was extremely rude! Rude enough that I walked out of the store. Do not recommend buying anything if she is there.
