My visit to Maui Hawaii was great, and I really enjoyed the Luau. The fire dance performance was phenomenal, and I will definitely go back next year to see the show.
The food was good and served at the Hyatt in a buffet style. What I can say is that the food wasn't exceptional or unique to what you would find on mainland USA, even though that is what we hoped for.

Food is okay, but the service and atmosphere is amazing.
Show itself deserves 10 out of 5, they show the stories from different Polynesian countries not just Hawaii.

Fire dance at the end is great, overall a must experience if you are visiting Hawaii.

Total cost was 550$ for two people.

Beautiful music and great food! My favorite part was the section representing New Zealand... the lead dancer/singer *nailed* it!! I'm not sure the pork they served was from the same pig they displayed immediately before serving started, but what we got was delicious nonetheless. The juice drinks were overly watery, but the only alternative was their Mai Tai, so... juice it was! The show was brilliant and I thoroughly enjoyed the dancing and music. It was nice a few of the performers were available for pictures after the show, but the lighting was dark and made it hard to get good photos. Thanks, Drums of the Pacific, for a great show!

We had a truly amazing evening at the luau! From the greeting to the end of the evening I felt truly welcome. The luau is definitely expensive but I feel like it was worth the price. Our waiter kept the drinks flowing and the buffet dinner was next level. I really liked the way the show flowed - they taught dancing before dinner and had acts all throughout dinner. I read a lot of reviews and we picked this Luau - I’m sure glad we did!

This was an excellent experience for my entire family, which includes an 18 and 16 year-old. The show was amazing and the performers were phenomenal. The show was broken down perfectly to allow for time for the audience to eat and use the bathroom without missing any of the show. And for a cultural/historical show to keep an 18 and 16 year-old interested says something.

We were very happy with all of the service staff that we encounter during the check-in and service part of the show. Everyone was incredibly friendly, helpful and attentive.

We were fortunate to have a table in the front row but I did walk around the seating area before the show started and I don't think that any of the table provided bad seating.

Regarding the food... it was the best meal we had the entire time we were on the island. From the beef and chicken to the glass noodle... DELICIOUS!!!!

Regarding price, I did not compare this luau to other locations. This show was chosen for us as part of the trip we were on (not complaining as it was amazing). Knowing how much it cost and that Hawaii is more expensive that CONUS I don't think the price was unreasonable considering what was included... the amazing show, an incredibly delicious dinner, drinks, and a family photo.

We very much want to return to Maui as our week trip was not long enough and if we get to return we will definitely return to Drums of the Pacific again, it is worth it.

A great Luau show, with consistently solid performances from all the dancers. There are no fire eaters, like we've seen elsewhere. Although, we thought the host and the dancers were the best we have seen. The stage and viewing areas for VIP were great. Probably the best venue, for the large trees for shade and smaller crowd size. We were seated at table 10. Regular admission tables have a decent view, so the upgrade to VIP only gets you priority for the buffet line and a free photo. Our server was very attentive and brought us drinks promptly. The first course of food was great (Poki, potato salad, and cucumber). The second course was overcooked, so we didn't enjoy the meats and vegetables but the fish was good. The third course was desserts and they were ok (Small chocolate brownie, pineapple pound cake, and fresh fruit). Lastly, be sure to tip your server at the end with some cash.

We had a really great experience and I was happy with how yummy the food was - our favorite was the poke and noodles, and I also really loved the baked fish! So fresh! Chicken was moist, and the fried rice was good too! Sadly my least favorite was the pork but my boyfriend loved it.. I just thought it was way too salty. Unlimited drinks was also a plus! I was a little bummed they didn’t do anything blended (like I’ve had at other luaus) but our server kept them coming which we appreciated! Show was fun and our server was awesome. Overall I felt that it was worth the money I just wish the picture they take when you arrive was included in the price. Also other people do stand and watch the show while walking through the hotel but I figure for how much they pay to stay there who really cares..
