Small brewery, very friendly owners! You walk in tell them your name and when you leave they remember your name! Amazing staff! I believe I was talking to one of the owners Ron, amazing memory, adressing all customers by their name, very friendly guy! Recommend to try different types and flavors of beer!

Cool brewery with great folks running the place. Relaxed atmosphere with good retro vinyl. DJ got a little too loud for me. Would have liked to move outside. Hopefully I can in the warmer months.

Beers were all good. Pilsner SJ was great, well made beer. Great starting point. WWSD was a good, balanced holiday ale. DTSJ 12 was nice. Not too belgiany. I sampled most the beers. All were good.

Would have loved to see a West Coast IPA. My go to beer.

Only con is they are credit only. No cash. I am a cash first guy.

Give this place a try. I wish I had sooner.

This nano brewery nestled in between local housing in Downtown San Jose, is a special, little oasis offering an array brewing styles in a time where most breweries are focused on IPA’s. Not to say that they don’t offer an IPA, because they do! But they also offer a stour, red ale, enkel, Belgian triple and quad, farmhouse, etc. It’s a nice, quiet brewery for locals that know; with a super friendly staff that has a deep knowledge of the product. The food truck that offered Vietnamese fused tacos was an absolutely incredible value. At $5 a taco, you’ll never find a more delicious value! And the cuisine couples with DTSJ’s beer remarkably well!

Wow. After our first visit, we can't wait to return. The beer is EXCELLENT. There is a wide variety and in each beer you can taste the high quality ingredients and care that went into each brewing.
Starting lighter, their Saisons were bright with a variety of flavors and an awesome aftertaste. I'm not an IPA drinker, but our friends were swooning over them as well. And their two stouts were both impressive too: not bitter but clean and fully flavored and down right delicious.
We'll be back for the beer but also to hang out in the awesome location that is inviting and relaxing. Great owners who care about their beer and customers. Go support this brewery!!

First time here, but definitely not the last. Good variety of beers (Highly recommend the Red). The knowledge and friendliness of the owners made for a great experience.
