My family and I absolutely cherish our visits to Eataly LA, boasting an unparalleled selection of Italian gourmet and grocery items. Their fish market stands out, offering unique finds such as Dublin Bay prawns that I haven't spotted elsewhere locally. The array of wines is impressive too, featuring prominent labels like Barolo and Barbaresco, along with a diverse selection of Chiantis.

For those feeling peckish while shopping, there's the option of grabbing a freshly baked pizza on the premises or indulging in a custom-filled cannoli at the pasticceria for dessert lovers. Definitely not for your day to day grocery shopping as you need to be prepared to spend a bit more. In my opinion it's (partially) justified for the authentic Italian culinary experience these products bring to your table.

After having been to Eataly in New York earlier this summer and falling in ❤️with everything about it as a major foodie, I had to see what Eataly was like in CA. When I realized there was one about 20 mins away, I had to see first hand. Eataly in Century City did not disappoint! It is multi level including a rooftop, which I didn’t get to see, but I bet it’s lovely. The main level featured the restaurants and various sections of Italian delicacies ranging from the numerous types of pastas to the well-curated cheeses and meats. If only I had more time to explore and enjoy all that this Eataly has to offer. The lower level had the gelato. We tried the passion fruit and it was of course delicious.

Now, I’m truly hooked on Eataly!

I will say the Flatiron district pastries were more extensive and unique than Century City, but Century City had beautiful candles,
soaps and nice Eataly merch.

This place is massive! Located at the Century City Mall it has a full out grocery store dedicated to a whole bunch of Italian ingredients and products. The restaurant itself is on top and has good views of the area. We came here for brunch and enjoyed ourselves. I had to try the pasta so got some of their Spaghetti which was cooked al dente with a well-balanced sauce and cheese. The Breakfast Plate was okay, but nothing special. Service was friendly and helpful too. Would come back another time for the store! Unfortunately no validation either which is common at many places in the mall.

Very late post. The wait was long but expected for last minute reservations. Highly recommend making reservations in advance. Seating and view were nice. Our table a bit small for 2. We really enjoyed our mushroom appetizer we ordered it again. But unfortunately our actual meals didn’t taste nearly as good. They fell a little fist for our taste. My dessert was good. I would still go back and try other things on the menu.

Pasta Nerano was super good. I was in Nerano last summer and this brought me back. Make sure it’s nice and hot. The gluten free pasta was great. Didn’t feel like I missed out. Service was also very attentive. Sourdough bread was awesome.

Though categorized as an Italian resto, most visitors identify this upscale chain as a market store related to all things Italian.

So best to review it based on our experience last June 2024 as such.

The 1st floor are cafe and gelato counters connected by a stairway that leads to the supermarket area which has sections for desserts, a small food court, grocery, wine, resto, and the usual stations. There is also a toilet near the wine section at the back.

Proper signages are placed all around the stalls about the source of peoducts.

Foot traffic is often fast and a lot of tourists abound.

Wow what a nice treat to try Eataly! We had the nicest service from Saith, he took good very care of us! We had the lunch combo mushroom and pasta dishes, plus the A5 waygu and Bombelle Pugliesi pork dishes. Everything was excellent. Things took time so good to be patient when enjoying your meal Italy style in leisure. The desserts were over the top!

Lovely place, especially the outdoor seating area. Food was delicious, super fresh and as amazing as it was, it wasn’t even the best part, because the service trumped that! Super friendly, especially our waiter (Christian), very attentive to detail and made our night/dinner even more memorable than it already was!
