A lazy weekend outing and this was the perfect spot for a sweet treat. It was well staffed even so close to closing time. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. The place was huge and would make a great luncheon or meeting space. The patio was pristine and everything was spotless! Parking in the rear.

Our first time visiting this location to try their sandwiches. The Reuben came with chips and fruit. Nothing special that stood out from other fresh sandwiches, but overall, everything was good. Nice atmosphere and very clean inside and out. You can't go wrong with any of the deserts that are made!

Edgar’s = Happiness in Cake Form

If joy had a flavor, it would be Edgar’s strawberry cake. Y’all. It’s THAT good. My husband refuses any other birthday cake—this is the one, every single year, no debate. And my 4-year-old? He’s obsessed with their single-serve treats. He makes one last for days, savoring every rich, sweet bite like a tiny food critic in training.

Yes, it’s a little pricey, but this isn’t your average grab-and-go bakery—it’s a “special treat” kind of place, and totally worth it. Everything is fresh, the atmosphere is lovely, and the staff is always kind and helpful.

Whether you’re stopping in for a slice of heaven (aka cake) or a full meal, Edgar’s never disappoints. 10/10 will keep coming back.

Picked up 2 brownies Wednesday May 21 from the Trussville location. Very disappointed - they were dry and hard on the edges like they were a week old or more. Not standard Edgar’s quality. I could have, and wish I had, made better brownies at home for less.

Even with a full house we could speak to one another without difficulties or shouting. Great atmosphere for a casual lunch. Two of us had late breakfast since they serve until 3pm. The sandwichs were good and the fruit salad was fresh and flavorful. We'll be back.

Every month our office preorders a cake from Edgar's for employee birthdays. Decorative cakes such as this Italian Creme or the Sundae Cake normally have "Happy Birthday" written on the cake board.
This cake was ordered online two weeks ago, yet was not ready for pick up. It was pulled from the day old cake section then scribbled on, evidently, by a child. Not worth $40+.

I needed a cake for my 17th weeding anniversary dinner party. So, I called Edgar's Bakery in Trussville, AL and placed an order for their Ribbons and Lace Cake. Best cake I have ever had from a bakery. The cake smelled so good and tasted even better. It was a huge hit among my dinner guest. Now for the customer experience part. First of all, the bakery is beautiful inside out. On the day I picked up my cake, the Easter Bunny was there. Secondly, When I arrived I was told my cake wasn't ready but I was offered a complementary coffee. OMG, I thought that was so nice. Later on that day, my cake was ready. I had a wonderful experience doing business with Edgar's Bakery.
