Nice little spot. Free access. The biggest issue would be parking. There is paid parking on campus but you could park elsewhere and walk over. Just a small garden, walking around for 30 minutes tops.

Pleasant area with a nice walkway. Fairly small - took us about 30 minutes to walk all the paths. Not a lot of floral variety, but still pretty. The paths are excellent - they obviously put an emphasis on accessibility. Very little color. It was our first time to the college, so we found the parking a bit confusing. Ended up buying a $5 all day pass in lot 5.

Love this spot but it was hard to find! The pin lands you on the opposite side of the parking lot and there are no signs until you are literally at the entrance. All the side pathways to nowhere got us lost for a minute but it was worth it! Looks like parts of this are closed off for construction. Location code is 5R29+9HC San Marcos, California

We parked on the other side of the church across from the train station and then walked over. It was a great little area. It was nice to find a partially shaded walk we would've loved to explore more of the upper portion, but it got a little too hot for our pup. We went around 11 on a Saturday and we were the only ones at the garden!

We attend the dog agility events. The tranquility and natural environment make for very pleasant afternoons. The cleanliness of the environment goes unnoticed. There’s always a breeze of fresh air. Shade is what we bring, as is the seating. It’s very close to a picnic.

This is a magical (FREE!) place to visit! Places in the garden were in need of some attention/upkeep when we were there, but it was still beautiful and fun to explore. We had it to ourselves on a Saturday morning.

I went today with my grandson and was Disappointed with the quality of the trails. They definitely needed maintenance, I thought I would be able to push the stroller but the trail sand was soft and full of ruts. It seemed the trails went in random circles. It is advertised as wheelchair handicap accessible but there is no way you could push a wheelchair on those trails.
