This park is known for fun events especially on certain holidays to go visit with the family ,friends or just you. Either way I got to go for the first time ( wont be my last) Community Rummage Sale and walk out with a full cart. Wasnt expecting such a fun event with so many yard sale items at such low prices. Plus bargaining does help to save more. Hope this event happens again since many showed up and was nice to be out. Plenty of parking just do arrive early for a space closer to the park area and grab those items for a nice price. A big park to enjoy walking your dog too. Go visit this park you will be going more often.

Nice find for enjoying plants, taking flower photos, learning what plants are best suited for the area. No access to 2/3 of the garden (veggies and fruit trees) except on open tour days; see website for schedule and classes. Not a large garden but worth a stop in and a return. Nicely labeled. Maintained by volunteers, kudos to them!!!!!

I visited this center recently and highly recommend going there when they are open. In August they will be having Harvest Day, 8 AM to 2 PM and it’s free and open to the public. Beautiful place with all kinds of plants, including fruit trees, vegetables, such and all things plants. Also people who work there are very helpful and can answer any question about gardening. This is a really nice place. I came here to learn about composting and growing vegetables in my new garden. The volunteers are very helpful and also helpful and knowledgeable too. I would recommend you come here and learn from the master gardeners.

I come here often to take product photography for my wooden toys and decor that I make. I also really enjoy walking the garden it’s never too busy and I can really take my time and enjoy the beautiful space.
