We love Fairhope Fish House! Not only do they provide fresh fish and oysters for our dinner table at home, but their catches are featured in menus at local restaurants across our area. They are also always giving freebies to the community—crawfish, poké bowls, snapper throats. Good seafood and good people!

I won't give too many details, but these guys made a gesture of caring & friendship to my mother who is going through a difficult time. To no profit for themselves, they went out of their way to be supportive and remind her and I that there are still truly decent people in the world.

The catch is always fresh. The crap you're buying at Publix is rarely if ever local. Farmed fish is not quality, and you can't beat freshly-caught snapper, tuna, amberjack and swordfish.

I count these guys as friends now for their kindness and humanity. Wishing them only the best.

Even though we caught them at a very lean time ( very little fresh catch...bad weather etc), the frozen items we bought were great but not local. The shopping area was clean, and the monger behind the counter was super helpful. Sign up for their notifications, and they will inform each day of the fresh catch on hand and all available frozen. Saves a trip. Will try again on our next visit. Some T-shirts available.

Having recently moved to Fairhope from the East Village in NYC I was on the hunt for the freshest local seafood that I could find and was lucky enough to stumble upon the Fairhope Fish House located in a small, unassuming shack where I met Justin and Dustin. Friendly, helpful and knowledgable fishermen running their family business. So far I’ve visited twice buying Red Snapper, Grouper and Gulf Shrimp. Fresh, succulent, thick filets, large juicy, delicious shrimp complete with advise on the best, simplest method of preparation allowing the seafood to shine. Great experience, great products, great and friendly service, and you should see their boat! I give them 6 stars out of 5.
