I know that the 24 hr advance notice is upsetting to some. But believe me, Rocki did a great job of making our 2-hr soak really blissful. It is private, beautiful, and has a charm I've never experienced before. The river, the chairs and umbrellas by Feather River set up for us, and the clean hot spring water entering both pools. It is most definitely worth the $20 for a 2-hr block of sheer privacy!! Dont expect glitziness, but be prepared to soak next to a beautiful river and enjoy the privacy. I arrived very weary from traveling, but I left a different person... rejuvenated and restored.

Feather River Hot Springs Resort is the cleanest campground and the owner, Rocky is so sweet and accomodating. The constant sound of the mild river was music to our ears and the hot springs were just lovely. After arriving and setting up camp, our plan was to take a short dip in the springs before heading into town for dinner. We were so relaxed after the soak, that we laid down for what was supposed to be 5 minutes before dressing for dinner. Well, we never made it to dinner. That quick rest turned into 14 hours of the longest and deepest sleep of our adult lives. If you are looking for that kind of relaxation and decompression, look no further.

The pool is great. The owner seems like she hates me in particular. I've been going there The last 9 years. Finally not returning due to how difficult it is to reach her and schedule. Only to have 6 other people there during my scheduled slot. Since the scheduling started it's not the same. Not enjoyable for me. Hope it's great for all of you folks!

My Husband and I enjoyed staying here over my birthday weekend. Perfect size campground, not too big. I very much enjoyed sitting in the hot spring and looking out over the canyon river. If traveling there, I highly suggest taking the address from the website, not Air B&B or you may just get lost!!!

Awesome hot springs! Came on Wednesday afternoon/evening and had the hot springs to myself. Beautiful location with the nice cool river you can jump in and cool off.

There are 3 tubs. A big one, a more bathtub sized one, and then a natural variation that has a bunch of rocks holding the water in place (I liked this natural one the best although it has the least amount of water).

The hot springs are actually hot and I'd estimate the first tub is around 100-102° with each tub getting progressively cooler as the water makes it way to them.

Also, realize this is a natural hot spring so the water has lots of minerals and smells of sulfur. The big first tank has the clearest water, but there is still sediment within it.

Will definitely come back!

Feather River Hot Springs and Woody's Hot Springs are one and the same.

P.S. Don't wear any jewelry as it will tarnish.

After being members in the past I'm very disappointed to be told "I can't do children." Every other hot spring we go to does not discriminate against children so I'm not buying the insurance line. Shame to see this place ran by someone so rude.

Reached out to the campground host via email. She couldn’t have been more helpful - accommodated us at short notice, very reasonable and even helped plan our onward journey. The hot springs themselves were not the highlight of- the ageing charm of the site and Rocki’s kindness were.

Awesome place to soak and feel free with nature. This is a sulfur hot spring. So there's going to be a bit if a smell. The majestic views are beautiful during the day. At night, when the Sun goes down. Only your birthday suit is required. ?
The river is only 20 feet away and loud during the wet season. It's cold but a quick dip is invigorating. There are freight trains that runs on the other side of the canyon all times of the day. The night train is a must see under the stars. When the Lunar moon isn't out. Well you'll see a few moons at eye level regardless. Take care of this place so we can continue using it. Enjoy Life Awesomely.
