Finca is a great choice for lunch or dinner if you are visiting the Marketplace! We shared the coop sandwich (juicy chicken with grilled peaches, thick cut bacon and slaw), hand cut seasoned fries with a trio of dips, and grilled broccolini from a local regenerative farm - The Ecology Center. We also ordered the cowboy burger which came with an 8oz. patty and pulled pork.

The atmosphere is nice as well - outdoor seating was comfortable and chill.

I also have to shout out the staff who saw that forgot my purse at our table and graciously held it until I realized an hour later 🤣 Please give this place a try!

What We Loved:
• Harvest Salad with Tri-Tip: This massive, shareable salad is a feast for the senses. Crisp greens, sweet pear slices, pomegranate seeds, and radicchio are perfectly complemented by savory shaved cheese and tender, smoky tri-tip. The fresh, organic ingredients made every bite vibrant and full of flavor.
• French Fries: A clear crowd favorite! These golden fries are seasoned to perfection and served with a trio of dipping sauces. The spicy ketchup was the standout—a tangy, flavorful dip with just the right amount of heat. It’s no wonder every table seemed to have an order.
• Tri-Tip Sandwich: This hearty sandwich pairs tender, smoky tri-tip with fresh, toasted bread and a smoky spread. It’s a satisfying choice for those looking for a filling and flavorful dish.

Service:
The service at FINCA was fantastic—quick, informative, and responsive. The staff was knowledgeable about the menu, offering helpful recommendations and ensuring that each part of the meal went smoothly.

From the massive Harvest Salad to the can’t-miss fries with spicy ketchup, every dish reflects a passion for quality and flavor. If the wood-fired aroma doesn’t pull you in, the food, service, and experience certainly will.

Burger meat was way too salty and had a strange texture, the mushroom was sliced too big, the cheese was not enough, and the cost was way too steep for just a burger with no fries. Took a while to get seated and even longer to get our food after ordering. Would not recommend coming here even though the vibe looks nice from outside.

Finca has wonderfully fresh vegetable dishes and creative flavors that will leave you pleasantly surprised! We got the cauliflower, which had a slightly spicy addictive sauce and creamy cheese coating. Most tables around us were getting it and they had run out of it by late afternoon. Definitely recommend! We also got the beans, wedge salad and a winter salad. All were fresh and delicious. We loved our wine and how many choices were sourced from Valle de Guadalupe.

The whole River Street area was lively and exciting, even for a week day. It brings a great energy to San Juan. I’m happy to have Finca as a new addition to town!

I think the idea of this restaurant is good - quality ingredients and everything is made from scratch. A great vibe inside the restaurant but overall poor service (although restaurant was not overall busy and plenty of open seats). We received our salad and side of French fries but received our two burgers 20 minutes later. Burgers were over- cooked. Waited a significant time to receive a drink refill and when we submitted our second drink order the waitress made an error as she just wasn’t very attentive.

Overall the flavors were great, just poor service and poor execution from the kitchen. Would be interested in coming back to see if this visit was an anomaly.

I went to lunch with a friend to Finca for the first time. Our waiter Logan was very informative and even explained how the restaurant was serving wine made from the grapes at the Mission. He suggested we have the heirloom vegetable meal which he explained was a stew. We were adventurous and decided to try it - it was amazing and nothing like we had very had before and we would definitely have it again!

I love all the creative veggie options. The broccolini, potatoes and squash sides were very good. The heirloom beans were tasty but a bit too firm for us. The burger was really good, well seasoned with a nice char. Portions are generous. I love seeing the local support and Ecology Center produce.

Absolutely blown away with how phenomenal our first meal at Finca was last night! Jeff was our server and had great recommendations. I had the Veal Porterhouse & my husband had the Montana Burger. I usually am not a big steak person but the veal was just out of this world - so tender and delicious and didn't leave me feeling gross afterwards like most steak usually does! The fire roasted carrots and the fries were absolutely divine, I could eat a gallon of the house-made ranch or ketchup that comes with the fries. We came for my birthday celebration and we are already looking forward to our next meal at Finca! Well done!
