I LOVE my Flocktown Farm boxes❣️❣️The produce is SO fresh and nicely varied. Flocktown Farm has truly figured out this CSA thing. They have many sizes of orders, so that even a two person household can manage a small order. Best of all, they deliver to your home. Another best you can pause any order and accrue credits that you can use later. This is the BEST!!

And you can make fresh salads or roasted vegetables and soups galore!! Oh and they send recipes 😁

Flocktown Farm changed my life in the way that having the best quality produce delivered to your door would. I look forward to receiving my newsletters every Friday, customizing my orders Saturday mornings, and receiving them all boxed up on Tuesday mornings. I cannot recommend Flocktown Farm enough! I’ve been a CSA member for two seasons now and the produce is simply amazing. There is so much variety week to week and everything arrives freshly picked and in great condition. There hasn’t been an item I haven’t enjoyed. They are reliable and dependable. It’s also easy to navigate their website and they are very responsive and communicative. If you love fresh and local produce and want to support farmers, I’d highly recommend Flocktown Farm.

Great variety of organic produce every week! The platform to make your selections was easy to use and I loved learning new recipes from their weekly newsletter. The add ins to purchase were convenient too (like meat, fruit, snacks, etc). Excited to start a second year with their CSA delivery program this year!

This was our first year as members of Flocktown farms and we have signed up again for the 2025 season. The produce we received was fresh and of good quality. Once we received a bad watermelon but let them know and we were credited for it no problem. The delivery service is very convenient and came in a timely fashion every Tuesday. Our dog always let us know when they were here. We looked forward to different vegetables each week and it challenged us to discover and try new recipes. This week I made a delicious cabbage soup something we never ate before. Thank you Flocktown! Keep up the good work!

*Update November 2024*
Just a quick update now that the season is almost over. Once again, Flocktown has met and exceeded our expectations!

- This season, we enjoyed our regular tried-and-true favorites (excellent fresh spinach and Swiss chard, delicious chioggia beets, cantaloupe that just screamed summer, garlic we could just not get enough of etc etc etc.)

- We also tried many new favorites (the purple potatoes and some varieties of winter squash we never tried before stand out.) Everything was so fresh and flavorful!

- Ordering via the app was made even easier with some much appreciated changes (can’t remember if they were made end of last season or early this season.) Each week I looked forward to see what was planned for our share and then customizing it however I wanted to get our most favorite items.

- And as always, the home delivery was a huge selling point for us: it was so easy to order what we wanted and just step outside our house to pick it up! We always left a cooler outside for our delivery since we were not sure when we would bring it inside, and as in prior years, all delivery drivers took such care to place our share in the cooler with no bruising or rough handling, to assure we always got great produce!

Thank you to the farmers, office team, drivers, and everyone else at Flocktown for another great season. We’re already looking forward to next season, and needless to say, we still highly recommend Flocktown!

I thought I’d update this review now that I’ve been a subscriber for a couple of years. I am happy to say I am still a very happy Flocktown customer!

I was confused to read a couple of negative reviews that were posted. I have NEVER had any bad experiences or bad produce from Flocktown. The produce we have gotten has always been abundant, fresh, and incredibly delicious (much better than I’ve gotten elsewhere.) While some of it (a very small amount) may look a little odd (example: tomatoes may not be perfectly round or potatoes may be a little ‘bumpy’) I expect this with ALL organic locally grown produce, and I’d rather have no harmful chemicals in my food than ‘pretty’ produce. Besides, I am more interested in taste (always excellent!!!) and freshness (can’t be beat!) over appearance.

I highly recommend Flocktown to anyone who loves delicious, fresh produce!
