This restaurant is superb! It lives up to the hype from the locals and every part of the menu feels intentional! The brown butter hummus and every other hummus I have tried are phenomenal, smooth and made from scratch in house. All of the pitas on the menu are filled with flavor. The beef and lamb pitas are our absolute favorites! Additionally, this new location offers a dessert menu and the croissant bread pudding is delicious. The craft bar is also beautiful and the drinks are gorgeous and delicious. My husband made note that the old fashioned was his favorite that he had ever had!

Also, check out the indoor and outdoor spaces. They are designed impeccably and really are full of such culture and curated pieces. The outdoor space is cohesive and yet, a whole different vibe! Love it!

Much love from a fellow small business owner

Florence and the Spice Boys on Cattlemen Road at UTC is a hidden gem! The ambience is vibrant and eclectic, perfect for a unique dining experience. Their Middle Eastern-inspired menu is bursting with flavor—don’t miss the turmeric fried chicken sandwich and eggplant sabich. Easy access and plenty of parking make it a breeze to visit. Whether you’re stopping by for lunch or dinner, you’re in for a treat!

Delicious, delectable, scrumptious – think of all the adjectives in the book to describe a great culinary experience and you've got this restaurant. The hummus is on par with the best stuff I've tried in Lebanon and Israel. The interior is both thoughtfully and beautifully decorated. Great experience and I will be returning as a faithful. Hands down one of the best restaurants to enter the SRQ scene in 2025. Others in the area have a high task to compete with how good this place is!

Food: Everything was delicious. We got the Brown Butter Hummus with pine nuts, the smoothest hummus we’ve ever had, the taste was more savory vs. bright with lemon, we loved it with the grilled pita.

I got the Spice Boys Burger, my go-to from the other location, still just as fantastic and precisely what I wanted. The side salad that comes with it, is refreshing and with some sort of vinaigrette or pickled cabbage (?) but it’s offset with the cooped up sweet dates and sliced almonds.

Hubby got the Chicken Shawarma and an order of the brussels sprouts. The Shawarma wasn’t my thing, but for what it’s worth I appreciate that it’s the best version of it and very flavorful, the chicken was tender and the seasonings full of depth. The Brussels Sprouts were incredible, perfect char and the chutney boosted the flavor.

If we’re honest, we both thought the food here was better than their other location.

Also got the soft serve ice cream, Lemon Meyer and Vanilla mix. Yum!

Service: It’s newly opened so I will give them some leeway. Technical issues with who got seated when and where, we did sit there for a hot minute, but once I flagged them down, they were very attentive for the rest of the night.

Atmosphere: The best in Sarasota! Every little detail thoughtful and planned. A lot of love went into this place and it shows. Just look at my photos and others. Silverware, porcelain dishes, Art Deco glassware, pewter serving trays…the list goes on. The noise level wasn’t bad for as big as the space is, they did a good job managing it. The music is fun but not over powering and fits nicely with the theme of the place.

Price: The price is fair, for everything above, plus two regular drinks we paid about $95 with tip; note that we didn’t get any cocktails or specialty drinks. Well worth it though.

The new location is way bigger and has an awesome new menu. Most of the classic dishes from the original place are still there. It was the opening week, so everything was great. We even got a table before the rush at 6 pm. We can’t wait to come back soon!

I didn't know such good food could coexist in such a magical environment in Sarasota. When you step through the doors it's like you are Alice entering a Wonderland. The level of service from everyone (and I mean absolutely everyone...from the young man greeting and seating you all the way to sweet food runners and bussers bustling around with a smile on their faces) is not matched anywhere in Sarasota. I don't even know how to begin to describe the food. I'm just going to leave a list of my favorites here and you just have to try them yourself to understand just how great they are. Bhel Puri, brown butter hummus, Brussel sprouts, fried chicken sandwich, burger, chicken shawarma, and the bread pudding...all outstanding

If you are wondering if you should give this place a try the answer is a resounding "Yes!" I promise you will not regret it.

It’s a beautiful space that’s been completely redone with creativity and flair. Somehow now you feel like you’re in a quiet oasis, even though it’s near the hub of a major mall.
Friendly greetings at the door, Seeking outdoors and a great alfresco environment.
Slightly different menu than the other restaurant, but some very pleasant surprises
We started with the land flatbread, eggplant served with delicious sauce, falafel side, and some hummus. Everything was great and definitely we left us wanting for some of the delicious sounding main dishes.
2 orders of lamb tagine for the table and one signature brisket burger. The meats were tender and perfectly prepared, clearl well marinated and expertly cooked
We finished with soft serve lemon flavor and some incredibly delicious bread pudding (made with croissant !!) . A great riff on a dessert classic that definitely enhanced its flavor.
I didn’t think there could be an ā€œas good asā€ place to the original restaurant, but they DID it !! An experience that shouldn’t be missed !
