Amazing nursery. So many quality Christmas Trees! Love getting a coffee and enjoying the vibe. The staff are helpful and kind. I take my dog for a walk here all the time especially now with the seasonal spirit and Christmas magic! They have beautiful wreaths and such a convenient Christmas tree stand exchange program. For sure check it out!

A beautiful jewel in the crown of the town of Albany (by the way, a great downtown to walk around in). I friend and I were out for a walk and couldn't just walk past this place. They have so many displays to feast one's eye's on. And they change their displays for the season--and they are season appropriate with their plants.

Inside their building, they have many plants that are more appropriate indoors, seeds, tools, and items that are more valuable. Outside they have their outdoor displays, plants they you eat, starts, trees, and more. There is a coffee shop outside, but it was too late in the day for me.

Even if you aren't a gardener, you will find beauty there. You can always just walk around and feast your eyes, and your nose (in some cases).

Wow! What a great nursery! My dream garden in the city. It has an amazing layout with visual and provides such a sensorial experience. This the place you can draw inspiration or just relax to find peace in your mind. Also I would like to add, it has the most comfortable chairs and benches for your outdoor garden. The overall feeling of being relax or Zen.

I want to live here. I'll just bring a hammock and my dogs and some books and be set! The plants are gorgeous, they have a wonderful selection, everything is healthy and I have yet to have anything I've purchased from here die... And I'm pretty sure I've invested my kids college savings here 🙂 the coffee from the high wire booth is wonderful and I love the old pup that hangs out inside. Prices are generally reasonable considering the size of the plants you get and taking into account how long it took them to get that big. A good range of everything from houseplants to annuals, perennials, trees, succulents and herbs/produce plants. The one downside is that their pots are beautiful but pretty expensive relative to other places, and I can never find a parking spot out front! Seriously though, this place I'd amazing. I'll be poor but will have a beautiful garden to enjoy!

The best flower and plant shop in Berkeley/Albany. Period.

I must have walked by this place a million times before going in. Sad I waited this long to discover them. They have beautiful plants and flowers. And their pottery, oh my!!! The colors and styles are so cute. Plus, their staff is the most friendly and knowledgeable I’ve run across here. You have to stop by to see what I mean. Five plus stars.

This place is a destination for sure. Plan to spend several hours perusing the lovely grounds. Grab a wonderful beverage and snack at Highwire while you are here please! You won't regret it, I promise.

The staff here is the best of the best! Griff and Georgia are amazing and icons here at Floweland. Griff is a Graduate of Horticulture and many of the original staff graduated from Cal Berkeley as well. These guys are passionate about plants and will happily geek out with you and answer all your questions with a smile.

Enjoy the beautiful vignettes and don't forget to look up at the gorgeous Passiflora Oaklandia which covers the top of the Pergola!!! It is simply stunning. Visit the Shed where you can pick up worm castings and other tools and feed for your garden. Spend a good part of your day then go down to Cafe Raj or Little Star pizza for a nice meal and then must visit Mr. Dewie's for an incredibly delicious gelato!!!!

I love love love coming here. It’s such a lovely little garden. The staff is super knowledge about plants and always has great advice.

I think it’s a little on the expensive side, but they truly give value add with their knowledge and variety. I’ve found plants here that I’ve not found elsewhere and I’ve gotten garden advice that’s valuable and locally calibrated.

Lots of options, cute modern planters and other garden items, great little gifts: their little gift shop section has all cute things.

The cafe section is so cute and fun.

Plus, their sign is an icon. ?
