Frieda has made several occasion cakes for me the past 8 years and they're always as good as I remember. The dutch cream is our go-to cake with sprinkle decorations and chocolate lettering and it's seriously the best cake I've ever had in town. I highly recommend everything she makes!

Sweet Bakery with sweet Dutch pastries. You will want to leave with one of everything! Great selection, great staff, perfect stop for a Dutch baked experience. Cards and candles including local Artists calendars in addition to sweets.

Great selection and quality desserts. Placed an order at 0600 for a large blueberry almond tart and was told it’d be ready after 12! Grab some dog treats when you stop in too.

AS AN EMPLOYEE OF A BAKERY BACK HOME, I have to say I've never been somewhere quite like The Flying Dutchman!

Stepping into this pastry shop is such a vibe! Imagine being SURROUNDED by delicious baked goods (the smells, gah!!)

Whenever I visit Anchorage, I try to get something different.. but everything is so good I keep getting repeat purchases 😮‍💨 A real struggle!

The team is helpful, friendly and knowledgeable, and just by looking at the displays, you can tell they're absolutely top-tier at crafting aesthetic, tasty treats!

Absolute hidden gem of a bakery! Our second visit was today. My little guy especially loves the mini fruit pies and chocolate. I also got my second jar of their fire weed honey today, and it is delicious in our tea. Highly recommend them for all your sweet treat desires 😀

I'm thrilled to have such a lovely neighborhood bakery so close to my home! I grew up (far away) with a similar mom and pop bakery that I lived for when I was a child, so it's wonderful to have a similar place to share with my own kids. Every pastry we've ever gotten here has been fantastic, but their community mindedness is top notch as well! From dog treats to earrings to art sales supporting local rescues, you can tell that a lot of love is poured into this business. What a gem to have in our community!
