Nice neighborhood grocery store. However, its a bit old and I think it needs some upgrade/updating. Why not build a Foodland farm in Koa Ridge and close this location. Strategically I would highly recommend that before they build something in Koa Ridge and will definitely reduce business at this Foodland.

Finally extended their hours to 10pm, post covid hours were terrible since trying to use the ASB ATM is inconvenient since they moved it inside the store too SMH....

This is one of the smaller and older Foodlands having been at this Waipio shopping center since the beginning and i support them when i can. Cashiers and service is friendly and very helpful, dont think youll find that anywhere else🤙

Poke bowls are reasonably priced and a must.... Iykyk.

Had a problem redeeming my maikai points but they took their time to straighten the matter out. Mahalos🤙🤙

Hi Foodland management, I have been going to the WAIPIO location the last 10 years and the service has been good but today, the cashier made my experience beyond great. ARLEEN is very friendly and helpful! She interacts with each customer and the experience (despite waiting in line) was worth it, she greeted everyone with a smile & small conversation starter. I hope she can be told that more employees should have a kind warm welcoming smile like her. I’ve never done reviews because most I see are negative, so I’m here to highlight the positive! Keep people like her around, they make all the difference.

Aloha all; this is one of a few foodlands that have not been updated but they definitely try to make sure it offers all the same great choices the new Farms locations have. The staff is great and always helpful and smiling. The location is great and central if you live in this area. They have the best poke and salt vinegar wings [price is a bit high] but so worth it.

So disappointed in this location . Came in on May8th, 2022 and was at the customer service section. No one came to attend to us. It came to my attention that a guy that was attending to the customers buying groceries the only guy that have access to the customer service section . I can’t help but notice that there were other staff members so I went I ask him nicely if he could attend to us or give me a time . To my surprise he told me that the service desk is closed and in my head I was like he could have assign the check out spot to one of those guys and easily come to the customer section to help us out or just give me a time . I could see that he was young so I am am not surprise at his immaturity and lack of proper management . I also blame foodland for not having enough Human Resources to get that job done . Too bad and I will never rely on that location again

Stopped here to get some treats for a flight home, and the cashier was super kind and helpful. Made for a great experience. They also had some good deals going on, some specifically for local card holders.
