Ken McClellan is always professional and does everything he can to assist us as needed. He stops often times as I am visiting my loved ones to see if there is anything I need.

Once again, this company has created another problem for my family. The cemetery manager had our bench removed from my family’s grave site without being notified. We were permitted to use this bench after this company did not provide the bench I purchased from them. (It was also an effort to get my money refunded.) I do not recommend doing business with this company.

Lawanda was very helpful lost my mom January 29th.
I went to visit the grave site today and all the flowers are gone and her solar cross and solar angel was gone, this so so sad that someone steals off gravesites

Forestlawn Gardens lost my husband's VA marker, put a used double granite on his grave, and lied to me for over a year denying that they had done anything wrong. He died 12/4/21 and the General Manager finally admitted on 3/30/23 that he had known all along that it was a used stone. Several weeks later, my husband got a new stone. There is so much more that I could share, but there isn't enough space. For 15 months, I documented every conversation with the Forestlawn Gardens staff, the GM, and the CEO of Stonmore, the owners of the cemetery. I had a nervous breakdown and suffered tremendously after my husband died. Read the law suits on the Birmingham 33/40
wesite because of negligence caused by Forestlawn Gardens. After 15 months, I did receive a refund on the stone. This was an atrosity on their part. In Alabama, there are no laws governing cemeteries and how they do business. You have no recourse. The GM did tell me that the entire staff was fired. Wow! They should have fired the GM for not doing his job. He was the biggest liar of all. My husband served 22 years in the Army, spent 2 tours in Vietnam, and died unexpectedly from Agent Orange. No one deserves to be treated like Forestlawn Garden treated me, or my husband's resting place. Do not use Forestlawn Gardens for your love ones burial. Had I knowntheir history, I would have chosen somewhere else. By the way, I have document everything, and every phase of this experience and have pictures to prove everything

Denita, who works for Forestlawn, was very helpful to me when my mother passed away. She guided me through everything I needed to do, and was quick to respond when I called with questions. Since then, she has been helpful with any questions or issues I have had about my mother's grave site. I appreciate her help, and her understanding throughout this experience.

Lawanda helped us with everything we needed to get done. She made it a very calm day picking out the marker for my husbands mother. She went above and beyond helping with things even after we left her office. Thank you so much!

I did NOT deal with the office in Oxford! I did, however, find exceptional help from Racheal Davenport in the Gadsden office of Forestlawn. She absolutely went out of her way, above and beyond, to help me get the marker completed for my late former mother-in-law who is in the mausoleum in Oxford. Her experience, help and attention to detail gave me complete peace of mind. I cannot thank her enough.
