Stopped here for breakfast and it was very good! You order at a counter and pay then they give you your drinks, silverware, napkins and such on a tray along with an order number thingy and you go get your own table. We ate out in the wonderful courtyard which is shaded by a huge tree. Super pleasant.
They bring your food to your table and regularly provide refills on your drinks.
The food was very good and tasty. And considering you’re on an island in the middle of the pacific ocean the prices were very reasonable! I believe many visitors forget this part and gauge prices based on what they’re used to paying on the mainland which isn’t a fair comparison.

Great spot at the base of the Haleakala summit in a small town.
Really good vibes with a super friendly staff.
We got the thai noodles and the salmon salad along with the hibiscus iced tea.

All the dishes were solid and fresh and the outdoor seating with the decorated trees were beautiful.

Highly recommend this place if you are around and hungry

This is a very lovely place in a lovely small town. The food was delicious! I recommend the Makawao Loco Moco, it’s delicious. The gravy was little too salty, but delicious after all. Our server Miley, was super nice. Food came out quick.

The breakfast burrito and macadamia iced coffee were delicious. We loved the outdoor seating under the tree and the staff were very friendly. Definitely recommend!

I got here about five minutes before 11:30 so had to wait to order food. I got a cold brew while I waited. Then I got the chicken burrito in a bowl which had fried onions which was interesting. Still delicious. I enjoyed my food and had leftovers.

This place was a bit pricey for us, but consistent in both service and flavor. They have many vegetarian and vegan options. They were also kind enough to bring a homemade strawberry shortcake on my boyfriend’s birthday. Very personable staff, fitting country decor, choice of indoor or outdoor seating, all around great breakfast place!

A beautiful hole-in-the-wall breakfast stop. The food was amazing and very tasty.
Loco moco was so flavorful, roasted veggie omelet was the best omelet I have ever had.

Stopped here for breakfast with my wife and I had the Freshies grande breakfast burrito and it was hands down the best breakfast burrito I have had. My wife had the Paniolo Breakfast which was also fantastic. Food, service and atmosphere all were amazing.
