I always love visiting this trail with my family. The trail is well maintained and the smells are sweet of berries and summer right now. It is wonderful to pick up our farm box, say hello to the friendly people anf animals at the farm stand and go for a nature walk.

This is a great little short hike. It's an out and back trail, 0.7 miles to the end so just under 1.5 miles round trip. All flat with views of pasture and slough. Great for kids! No dogs allowed at all, although we saw two groups there that brought dogs anyways. There's also a kayak/canoe put in, but it's a bit of a walk to get to it, they used to have a cart to use but it was stolen.

Such a beautiful farm filled with love and amazing produce and local products. It's places like this that make Humboldt special. I can't say enough about this place, please visit and support this amazing farm.

There's a wonderful trail that follows the freshwater slough, appropriate for all ages. The ecological balance is preserved and maintained well by a land trust. Gardens and cattle amongst the wildlife sitings creates a pastoral adventure.

Really nice roadside reserve offering native plant sales, community gardens, farm stand and a nice walking trail along the slough.
