Rare treat. Step back to mid century quiet, peacefulness of Laguna as it was. Vast grounds, rambling paths, expansive unobstructed views. Surprises and lushness at every turn. Imagine a woman living here all alone just immersed in her creativity. Her generous act of donating all this to the city of Laguna is truly a gift worth exploring.

We went there with a group of friends and everyone was so happy and friendly. I enjoyed their tour and the history of the place, plus the stunning views of the mountains and Laguna Beach.

Is private property waste of gas if you live far away.One start because is not public so we didn’t get to see other than the houses ? lol we left and we went to the ocean ? thanks nature 🙂 for been free ocean and be for everyone.

The house is a fascinating step back in time, especially for MCM lovers. Our docents shared so many interesting tidbits about Hortense's home, all of the art works done by Hortense herself, and of course, the beautiful garden. It's delightful for anyone who's a plant fanatic. The garden has little surprises around every turn, which in our case, included a flock of quail. The ocean and canyon views are amazing and the whole experience is nice and serene.

Great place !!! From the moment you arrive you feel welcome !! The hotel is in a great location ! The room was good size , beautiful decorated and clean ! Ocean view with the pier view incredible !and for our surprise it wasn’t noisy at night ! The Valle restaurant unique Mexican great experience a must do ! the manager was fantastic even the chef came to our table to say hi !! Breakfast we had it at hi and low great coffee selection and good variety of breakfast kind and cordial waitress in general great play to relax and enjoy the beautiful Oceanside !!
