I rent a home on Market Street in Centreville and the roof and one wall had rotted and was falling down. So my wonderful landlords mailed me a check made out to G&H. So I did my demo, made my materials list and took it up there in all honesty thinking they weren’t going to have what I needed or it was going to be garbage. WRONG, oh man was I wrong. They were awesome to work with. They helped me with any help I needed and their lumber and materials are top notch. I bought about 25 2x4 studs and if I would have got them from Home Depot there would have been at least 6 that would have been bad. Really good prices too. I did a quote from Home Depot prices and G&H beat them by $300. That's impressive. This was my first major purchase from them and now I will go to them as my first choice. Thanks to all of the ladies and gentlemen who helped me that day including the lumber yard guys. They are fast, accurate and don't bang things around your truck. Y'all earned a customer for life from me.

Very helpful people! Needed plastic wrap and the man showed me exactly where it was. Have bought hardware from them before. Husband bought lumber and they delivered!!! We thank you for the hospitality and that is why we come back to buy local!

Two locations is a plus! I can usually find what I need. Nice folks and quick to help you. Just wish they had a website to search products and store inventory. It would make it quicker/easier for all around. All the website does is take you to Benjamin Moore paints.

Very helpful and knowledgeable staff, competitive prices, and a surprisingly good selection for a small town. They have a better selection of paint colors than Walmart, which is the local competitor, and they have an inside cat that lives at the store. You can't go wrong with a store that has a cat working there!
