BEST nursery in Miami with the BEST staff! I started a butterfly garden 3 years ago, with the help of everyone at Galloway. I wanted to add scented trees, and the Vanilla Almond Bush was recommended to me it grows like a haphazard mess, but smells divine. Evan suggested that I “ turn it into a tree. “ Evan taught me how, and now I have a very cute Almond Bush tree!!!!! I used bungie cords to hold all the wild branches together, and kept cutting off leaves on the bottom and shaped it for about 2 months ( once per week). I get so many compliments on my tree now! So it smells marvelous, and looks amazing! Evan is like a super positive tree / plant whisperer. I wanted to add a Popcorn Tree to my yard, bc it’s a host plant for sulphor butterflies. I don’t have much room, bit Evan encouraged me to do it, and told me I could cut the tree and shape it however I want. It is glorious! It smell like popcorn in my yard now, and it’s always blooming. I also have so many yellow butterflies! It leans on a pole, and is making a canopy with an Avocado tree, at the beginning of my butterfly garden! Evan gave me the courage, guidance, support, encouragement to do most of the artistic things I have done in my garden. Gage, Alex, Manny, Javier have also helped me too, educating me constantly. This nursery has the most terrific plants and people in Miami!

Woooow. I think this might be my favorite nursery I've ever been to. I loved a lot of the plants they offered and the prices are fair. The place itself is so beautiful with little sitting areas, a pond, rocks, and with all the plants it looks even more beautiful. I got two plants and a pot for $28. The employees are also very kind, pretty much everyone there. Will definitely come back again 🙂

This is our Mandevilla. He name is Amanda. I ain't never heard of such a plant until I went to Galloway looking for a mother's day gift in 2022. This is the happiest damn plant I have ever seen. She ain't quit blooming in the whole almost 2 years we've had her. The placard said a Mandevilla will bloom spring, summer and fall, but not winter. We don't get winter here, so she just keeps blooming.

This was my first time at a nursery and I was highly impressed overall. I went with my three year old whom loves butterflies. We currently have quite a few milkweeds in our garden and were looking to expand into other butterfly host plants.

Ariel and Mike were both phenomenal. I cannot emphasize enough how AMAZING they both were. They took the time to find out which plant would be best for us and explain how to properly grow and nurture it. We ended up purchasing a 1 gallon Passiflora Foetida with potting mix, clay plastic saucer and base. Upon recommendation we also purchased a tomato cage so that the plant has room to grow and expand.

Most importantly I was not the only one who had a great experience. My toddler was beyond happy and loved every minute we were there. In the car ride home she could not stop talking about how much she loved all the flowers and plants. She also kept mentioning Ariel and Mike (they were that memorable and passionate about their work).

Well organized, great supply of herbs, tropical plants, vines, butterfly attractors and some native plants and good collection of fruit trees, as well as fertilizers and pots . All is beautifully arranged. Helpful staff.
