Glacier Brewhouse is an outstanding dining experience in Anchorage, Alaska. My wife and I ordered a bowl of the seafood chowder which was amazing. We also ordered the fish tacos. The fresh salsa was crisp and added so much flavor. We finished with their world famous bread pudding with candied pecans. Oh my stars. Everything was brilliant.

When I walked up the stairs and saw the interior, I was extremely impressed. It looked so warm and inviting. Everyone looked like they were enjoying themselves. Just based on that, I decided that I would be coming back every time I come to Anchorage for now on.
I got the rib plate and it was delicious. That jalapeno cornbread with maple butter was excellent. Just a little too crunchy around the edges.

The last few times I’ve eaten here have been pleasant and honestly pretty tree tasty 😋. However, not sure what happened last night, ordered a to go meal which was the 36 dollar Fish and chips and boy was I surprised. Almost 1/3 of the meal was placed into the box! Can’t make this up. Super disappointed and don’t think I am returning for even a dine in experience.

Get reservations. The Appetizer didn't come, but was comped. The pretzel and beer cheese were fantastic. Two in our party got the Pacific Shrimp & Grits and gave it rave reviews. The beer selection was varied and the Coconut Vanilla Porter was excellent. I had the dinner burger. The flavors were excellent, but they didn't ask how I wanted it cooked and it was overdone. Overall 4.5 stars.

Food was delicious. Had a kale, spinach, apple winter salad, clam chowder, and spent grain bread. Oh, and key lime cheesecake! Loved everything!! Atmosphere was fantastic-by the fireplace. Service was great and attentive. We were visiting Anchorage and Glacier Brewhouse is always a must for us.

We loved it!!!!! My brother and I come up from Seattle every year for our birthday and the people here never seem to disappoint. We had a new server who was so sweet and another veteran, Gio. He kept checking in and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Loved loved him. It's loud and packed and I loved it. The Asian salad is something I'll dream about until next year!!!

This was the number one place on our list and it did not disappoint at all. It’s much bigger than you would expect, but the warm seating in the brewhouse makes it feel really cozy. The beer flight was great, and the food was even better. A must visit if you are in town!!

Visited from out of state and personally the customer service experience was great. Personally felt the food was slight above average only. I felt items were slight over price but I understand business.
