I was in need of a couple of side dishes for a Christmas dinner. I waited until the last minute before I remembered to order any. The Goar's deli was happy to help me even with the short notice. The food was delicious to boot!

Not my #1 choice for groceries because they are kinda expensive compared to our other stores but they are one of the few places that still carry out your groceries and load them in your car. They are always friendly and always have a clean store.(I just chose to take my own buggy out, but they always offer)

Awesome hometown grocery store! I'm not from Haleyville nor do I live there but do visit quite a bit. The buffet is freakin awesome and prices for groceries are competitive. Recently got a few steaks when passing thru and they were spot on!

Great grocery store. Managers helpful. Always fresh produce and good selection. Wanted some organic foods and they are trying to get some in! 5 stars. Go out of my way to go there. Hats off to Eli Franks! Works in dairy does a great job keep fresh food

My own experience began in 1972 as a new hire from phs in Bear Creek. I was a minority in regards to the 95% of h’viie folks. They were all a pleasure to work with cause they were usually upset with me more than I was with them. $.39 6-pak coke with $10.purchase. All were in glass and glass bottles broke and busted creating the phrase “ clean up on aisle 6 “ throughout the day on Saturdays. It was a sales pitch that worked well. A big city grocery chain came to town and I thought it would be a good idea to have a career change for the future. Well that’s a different story for another day.
