Ordered 2 large jerk chicken from this location via Uber eats. Food arrived and it was TERRIBLE. I said to myself, my usual spot doesn’t make their jerk chicken like this, EVER. Turns out, I didn’t order from the Lyons Ave location. I don’t know why the recipe is different across locations, but this Union Ave jerk chicken is the worst jerk chicken I’ve ever tasted. Dry and then covered with jerk sauce to try to enhance it I suppose. Never again! $60 down the drain. Go to Lyons Ave location

I’ve been dying to try Golden Krust so I came to Irvington to give it a run. The jerk chicken is perfect it’s not too but still seasoned well. The Jamaican beef patty has a nice flaky crust and the rice and beans were great with the jerk chicken. The cabbage was very bland and was missing salt which I was disappointed about. The lady working there was decent when I was picking up but there are some problems. If you are ordering on Uber Eats they don’t tell you that the Jerk Chicken comes with sides so I wound up ordering an extra side. Also if your getting juice you can’t choose a flavor on the app they pick it for you.

To put things into perspective...
It is 89 degrees (97 degrees in my car) yet I want nothing more than Golden Krust Chicken Soup in my life. You get it now AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS!!! You get a whole farmer's market, authentic Jamaican dumplings, and large chicken chunks in one bowl! Well done Golden Krust... we'll done👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾.

Ordered there about 3 weeks ago. A soup and jerk chicken meal. I had to go back because they forgot to include the jerk chicken meal. The soup was great. The jerk chicken was terrible. I called to let them know, the worker said she can’t do anything until the manager comes. Guess what? I’m still waiting on a callback from the manager, which I don’t think will come at this point. Save yourself, go to another restaurant.

I never had an issue when I come to this golden krust but yesterday was just terrible I just went to get some beef patties but that lady that works back there her customer service is absolutely horrible. They was a lady that was not in line she was standing by the window so she called the other lady first before me. So I kept my cool. But after she was done with her she even didn’t take my order she took some other persons food and went to the back just horrible l. I don’t think I’ll go to this golden Krust ever again

Came in for my usual two patties, natural drink and 3 packs of coco bread & auntie changed the price of the coco bread pack to individual coco breads (which cost more)Sad because I came out my way to support this specific golden crust. I show love and support but hate bad business Let’s do better family. One love ❤️
