We bought 7 yards of pine bark mulch from here and it’s not pure pine bark. She told me on the phone it was pure and fresh. To say the least, it is not. We contacted Deborah a couple of times to see if they would let us swap this mulch out for something else or refund us our money and she refused to help us at all. This mulch looks nothing like what they have on their website. It has big chunks of wood in it, it has light pieces of wood in it, sticks, it appears to be ground down to dirt in a lot of it, and there is some pine bark but it’s supposed to be all pine bark. We spent a good couple of hundred dollars on this mulch and we’ve done business with them over the past several years we’ve been in business and the response we received from Deborah was immensely disappointing. We tried to give her an opportunity to remedy the situation but instead of making her customers happy she assigned blame, called us liars, and told us if we left a negative review to never come back...

Nutsedge seed is ALL in their compost. This is a very invasive grass seed. It is disheartening to pay good money for compost and it has invasive seeds in it. I wouldn’t accept their compost even if it was free. I’ve already picked hundreds of the little sprouting seeds from my garden. If you don’t get the little nut seed it will take over. I’m very frustrated about it. I’d encourage you to go elsewhere. It’s hard finding quality compost these days.

This is a rather scruffy nondescript place with scarcely a sign to indicate its business. It is more than just slightly worn, a bit junky, and the office reaks with stale cigarette smoke. However, it is a good place to buy bulk (truck or trailer loads) of mulch (pine and cypress cypress, shredded hardwood, and cedar) and an assortment of bagged potting mixes. Despite the shabby appearance the staff are always pleasant and very accommodating.

They were really busy and short handed the day I went in. But the owner still took the time to walk me out to the compost pile and show me my options. He also threw in some bonuses to my purchase. Really great customer service!
