Sausage factory with a small cash-only public storefront offering a selection of authentic Linguica, Morcela and other Portuguese groceries. Kind owner and fair prices. Linguica tasted incredible, deliciously smoky and good spice. Will be coming back to buy in bulk next time.

When I lived in HaywardI used to go to George Nick and Tom's Liquor on Tennyson Road and they sold it there, I used to make linguica myself but after eating Goularts mine was no longer an Option

The best linguisa in the country. Chunky and juicy - like we used to eat at Avó’s (Grandmother’s) in the 1940s. Just the right flavor, just the right mixture of meat chunks and fat chunks. When many other sausage makers have gone to finely ground meat and fat and even added non-meat fillers, Goulart’s use of chunky ingredients has kept their product true to tradition and tastiness. I load up on it when I’m on the left coast and bring it home with me. The Caetanos, proprietors of Goulart’s, will also ship. Their linguisa is the closest to that which I ate on the Azores Island of Pico when I visited there a couple of years ago. Stop by or call them to order - you’ll be glad you did.
