Loved this tour!! We stopped and did this tour in the rain. We arrived and signed up for the next available tour. While we waited, there were free samples of coffee. They even had umbrellas we could borrow for the tour. We learned all about coffee production and about other local Hawaiian fruits. Tour guide was excellent - she answered questions and explained everything well. There were 14 people on our tour. Tours seemed to leave regularly - every 30 minutes. It was very interesting - definitely worth the stop. Be sure to bring a few dollars cash to tip the tour guide. Coffee, chocolate and other items for sale in the gift shop.

I don’t drink coffee, but this entire tour was so impressive and informative. Our tour guide Nate was animated, knew a lot, and walked us through the farm. He shared many important facts about the coffee making process. It was a really hot day, so we were able to stay in the shady parts of the farm throughout the tour. It was so interesting that I did try some of the free coffee samples at the conclusion of the tour.

Highly recommend this as a destination. Have been 3 or 4 times to this coffee plantation when visiting the island. Keep going back to take our guests there and enjoy their tour and coffee. It is steeped in history and interesting things on the land as well as coffee. Very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Tours are free and go every 1/2 hour. Our latest tour guide was Kavena (not sure on spelling). He was fabulous. Extensive knowledge in the workings of the industry, this farm, and its history. We tasted bananas, peppercorns and tangerines right off the plants. Such an experience.

We did the coffee farm tour with Chai and she was amazing. She was super knowledgeable and incredibly witty. We learned a lot about the farm and how coffee is grown, harvested, and eventually roasted for consumption. At the end of the tour, we were even able to sample ~10 different kinds of coffee. The tour went on for a little over an hour and it was completely free!

Wonderful tour free of charge. Learned a lot about coffee processing, different types of coffee, coffee beetles that destroy the tree and beans. The group got to taste many different coffees produced at the farm. Also learned about pepper plants and different fruit trees on the property. The employee who guided us was very knowledgeable and cordial!

You GOTTA go to this coffee farm and take the free tour. It’s super easy with good parking and an obvious starting point with a little shop and tons of coffee to taste. We had tour guide Nathan who was super informative and entertaining. Not only did we learn about coffee from bean to cup, but we saw all sorts of other plants like bananas, cacao, peppercorn, etc. I’ve never been so inspired about the beauty and art of coffee!

Fascinating tour! We learned about the history of this farm, the region, coffee. We also saw how coffee is grown and processed. I loved that we were able to sample the available brew and the use of the farms umbrellas to help keep the sun at bay. Highly recommend taking the tour to see this process for yourself and enjoying the views at the farm. As a bonus, we got to see and taste fresh pepper as well! The only downside was that our guide was doft spoken and difficult to hear over the operation of the farm.
