Visited in November, which was past prime blooming, but still lots of blossoms. Really appreciated the heirloom aspect, as well as the thoughtful arrangement of types within concentric rings of beds. Really enjoyed the variety of size and shapes of the rose bushes and the color and scent variations. Wonderful stop!

Not quite as pretty as the rose garden just a few blocks away towards Santa Clara, but this place has a ton of roses! According to the signage, the Guadalupe Gardens Heritage Rose Garden has over 150 rose species and hybrids, organized in concentric circles. The garden is connected to the rest of the Guadalupe River trail, and is definitely worth a visit when the roses are in bloom.

Lots of roses that are well kept. The parking lot had some homeless hanging around. Neat to see all the variations of roses. If you are looking to kill 30 to 45 minutes and in the area it’s not a bad place to visit.

Not impressed. Nice size of the garden. However, the roses weren’t taken care well. Lots of weeds. Also, airplanes flying over the area frequently made it not so pleasant. Lots of homeless people camped along the nearby Guadalupe River Trail. Likely won’t come back.

This garden deserves more praise! The plants and flowers seem to be taken care of quite well, as the plants looked very healthy. The scents are really beautiful and relaxing. This would make a great location for a jog, a walk, or really just to zone out and enjoy the beautiful horticulture.
