This place is now called Hā Cafe rather than liquid life. We had a chance to meet and speak with the owner, who by the way is super nice, and she explained that the name change helps to encompass better who they are and what they do. Their line of health foods and supplements were very cool. I love that she includes and highlights indigenous ingredients into her products. Definitely worth checking out. Pretty awesome place!🤙🏽

Surprisingly they have great coffee too! The smoothie bowl is super delicious, I’ve had the kale one with morniga, added honey and almond butter. Really recommend this place and this plaza has a lot of options for food and small shops!

Found this gem by accident. Tried to eat at Hilo Bay but a long wait so we stopped in Liquid Life for a quick bite. It's a pretty simple place and menu. I liked that everything was made to order instead of grab and go. The breakfast croissant special was really good. The steak burrito was ok, not bad but I'm used to big flavors. The creamed spinach soup was really tasty, creamy goodness. Definitely would come back to try something else the next time I'm in Hilo.

An absolute gem. I ordered the açaí island and pesto panini with turkey. Smoothie is so tasty it’s solid like home made but with more delicacy. Panini is very good too, fresh off the grill. The chips are perfectly crunchy. Everything goes so well together.

They have a nice, shaded seating area and are a good spot for some healthier and optional vegan fare. The vegan burrito was tasty 🙂 My omnivore friend had the steak burrito and liked that too.

Not sure why this place gets the good reviews that it receives. Terrible service, lack of flavor in the food and incredibly long waits.
We were 2nd in line upon opening at 8 am and was told food would take 10 minutes. 40 minutes later, and the person in front of us still hadn't received their order.
Additionally, we paid extra to add turkey to the panini and they totally forgot it on our to-go order. The breakfast burrito was very small, almost like a microwavable burrito.
Lastly, this was the most bland tasting acai bowl we've ever had; no flavor in the acai at all. We also received it 20 minutes before the rest of our order came in, so it was melted by that point. If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. Waste of $46 for 3 items.

Nice workers and environment but food was not good, we got the croissant sandwiches. The eggs weren’t fully cooked through, tasted like there was 0 seasoning and just overall not great. Croissants tasted like they were from Costco. Wouldn’t recommend sadly

If Hawaiian Style Cafe across the way wasn’t so busy, we should have never tried this place. But I’m sure glad we did. The beet hummus toast is absolutely #brokedamout and the fresh green juice was the perfect beverage to wash it all down. Healthy eating in Hilo tastes so good here. 🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼
