We stopped here for their free one hour tour before snorkeling at Kealakekua Bay (as it was very close). We are so happy we did! We missed the turn off the highway initially but we turned around and found it. It is such a beautiful spot with all sorts of lush trees including mango. Kat was our tour guide and she was so friendly. There were two cute dogs who followed us around. The coffee tasting spot overlooking the water had spectacular views and the coffee and tea samples were delicious! We highly recommend a stop here!

This was a very nice tour. There was a small reception area area to start with coffee samples followed by the tour, which was complimentary provided they have time slots and you signed up for in advance. The first part of the tour was 20 minutes, with limited walking, then you get to an information / tasting area in the farm where you can get French Pressed samples in a serving style similar to a brewery (half press / full press and coffee flights). In total we spent just over and hour and enjoyed the experience.

What a fantastic experience! We were greeted by friendly staff and amazing aroma upon arrival and were able to sample the coffee prior to the tour. The tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of the grounds and how the coffee was made. We were in awe of the complexity of processing Kona coffee. Luckily, after the tour we were given the opportunity to sample some more varieties of coffee and purchase what we learned about.

Named for the large Halaa Tree on the property, Hala Tree Coffee Farm served up some delicious kona coffee. Ivy was a delightful tour guide and provided great information on the different processes used to produce their coffees. Wonderful stop.

We came there a little later than the appointment time but Kat was very accommodating. She gave us a short tour of the 10 acres coffee farm and coffee tasting shops. Kat was a good tour guide explaining the coffee farming process. We bought some tea and Kona coffee beans to bring back home.

Great tour and tasting. Very informative guide that covered enough without being overly long. The walk was short and easy, then we got to try various teas and coffees at a reasonable price. Recommended spot, just reserve a spot online.

This was a great experience learning about all the facets of coffee. I started with the roasting tour, then took the farm tour and finished with the brewing tour. They were all very formative and I had a great time! Marissa was a wonderful guide and a lot of fun!
