Beautiful Setting, Decent Food
Haleiwa Joe’s Haiku Gardens offers a stunning setting with lush gardens and breathtaking views, making it a great spot for a relaxing meal. It’s a popular place, so expect a wait even on weekdays.

The menu features a good selection of seafood and meat dishes, with their prime rib being a highlight. The seared tuna and coconut shrimp were enjoyable, but the ceviche fell short. The steamed fish was delicious but, like most dishes, was under-seasoned and could’ve used more salt. Service was friendly and attentive, adding to the pleasant experience.

Restaurant opens at 4pm. You should get there by 3:15-30pm. No reservations taken. We got there at 3:35 and by the time we got to the front of the line, it was a 25 min wait to be seated. People arriving at 4:10p.m. were waiting 90 minutes. The service was excellent as was the food and the ambiance of elevated veranda over-looking Haiku Garden amidst the backdrop of the mountains with the setting sun on them is spectacular. Pricey, so not an everyday thing, but worth a special treat. And save room for dessert!

We enjoyed walking around the property enjoying the flowers, plants, chicken and the views while we waited for our table to be ready. We waited a little over an hour and a half to get the joyous text that our table was ready for us. We sat upstairs wedged in between some tables (thankfully there were only 3 of us and not a 4th person) but we had a beautiful view from our table. My 24 year old son and I told the waiter that we would be sharing the Prime Rib ($54.95) (which we had been told was too large for one person especially me) and we would like an additional plate so we could share. You could add a house salad to that prime rib for $6.95 and again we asked for a second plate as we would be splitting this as well. My husband ordered the Coconut Shrimp for $33.95. Our salad arrived with one plate. We had to ask for a second plate. Our prime rib also arrived with one plate. So much for attention to detail and making guests feel wanted and appreciated. Our water glasses remained empty for quite awhile during our meal even after asking a few times for more water. It seemed our waiter’s attention was more focused on the big table behind us. Lucky them. The prime rib was huge and was served with a container of creamed horseradish which made the prime rib even more enjoyable, a scoop of mashed potatoes and a handful of green beans and onions. The prime rib was delicious and enjoyable. The coconut shrimp was a bit bland but the sauces gave it some flavor. It was served with a scoop of rice. When we got our bill another slight was the number of guests was listed as 2 not 3. We had 3 adults in our party and no children. I had higher anticipations for this restaurant as we had tried to eat here before but due to the long wait times, we hadn’t stayed previously. All our family and friends have raved about this restaurant. Maybe if our waiter had paid attention to our table, it would have been a better experience? Possibly….

The meal exceeded expectations in both taste and presentation. Despite consistently long wait times, service was prompt. While the salmon was slightly undercooked, the flavor remained excellent. Salads were generously portioned and well-received. The bread and spread were also noteworthy, as was the creamy, delicious chowder. However, the coconut shrimp appetizer fell short in both taste and presentation.

The service provided was satisfactory, and all staff members were courteous and professional. From the receptionists to our server, the team exhibited exceptional service. Our server's recommendations were clearly explained and offered a diverse selection to suit individual preferences. Furthermore, the unhurried pace of service was a welcome aspect of the dining experience.

The establishment offers a picturesque setting ideal for nature enthusiasts. Given typical wait times for seating, patrons are encouraged to explore the on-site body of water and diverse vegetation, providing ample opportunities for photography.

Absolutely the best scenery. The food was delicious, prime rib was large enough for 2 people. Celebrated our 13 yrs.here. Would have been nice to recieved a little icecream to top off our dinner but I guess that's not included. Anyway loved the view. Food was good. The women were nice whom provided drinks.

Had to be one of the most beautiful restaurants in the world.
No reservations so arrive by 4 (realistically 3:30) and get your name on the list and for any party under 10 people you'll be seated within 10-20 minutes.
Walk through the gardens either while you're waiting (plan on 15-20 minutes)
They have one of the largest pieces of rp8me rib I have ever seen. If you have young kids, the mom, dad, and kids can all eat one serving and might even still take some home.

Where do I start!. The food was fantastic. From the appetizer to dessert. Highly recommend this place. The view was phenomenal. Our waitress was great' it's unfortunate that I can't remember her name.

They have wonderful gardens to tour and take pictures while waiting for your table. Then when seated, dining with those beautiful mountains and views was amazing. The food was just as amazing with top notch service. The salmon dinner with homemade pesto was the best I have ever had. It was just a wonderful night all around. I highly recommend this restaurant for a beautiful night out with breathtaking views!!!!
