The milk and the food are expired sometimes. The milk turns chunky and the breads are stone hard on the occasion. I've legitimately been here more than 1000 times and don't get me wrong, my gratitude is in the multitudes for any morsel of food I am privileged to eat. It is disheartening however when you are unable to eat it. e.g. Mixed the milk with protein, tasted lemons, then ended up wasting money on the milk and the protein.

The people there are great, it's a nice place, and you should absolutely continue to go here.

I just hope the expired food gets fixed soon.

Thank you everyone at Halvorsen Hall Dining Facility!

If on the base, this is the best place to eat for civilians. It has nice hearty meals, and is veeeerryyyy affordable.

It also has Air Force Cooking School, so young chefs are eager to cook well.

And unlike PX - this is an Air Force installation, thus it is squiky clean, for reals. If I'm anywhere on the base, I drive here to use the facilities (yes, have to hold it until I get there).

Food was really good and prices can't be neat especially on pizza. Some of the airmen serving have no personalities. Need supervision. With all that said I would still recommend.

The Civilians turned away a bunch of USAF TDY trainee's and told them to go to the ft Dix DFAC. We've been eating there all week with our orders, but this time they said no.

Some of the guys had already gotten trays of food when they turned us down.

So they told them to throw away the food.... They refused to give an Air Force member food from an Air Force DFAC on an Air Force Base, with Air Force TDY orders, attending and Air Force training course.... Cause that logic makes any sense.
