Delicious, fresh and local. Great service which is extra nice considering it's counter ordering. Patio fully dry when it's raining. Easy parking too. The dishes are so well done it's like being at California fine dining, but with a friendly neighborhood vibe. Love this place.

The food is always pretty good. The fries are awesome. The burgers are not traditional, slightly elevated and delicious. $60 for burgers and fries for two people plus one root beer.

The Pier 45 soup with corn tortillas was delicious and the oysters were amazingly fresh! We enjoyed this place very much.
The service was also great. A big variety of food, interesting interior like an old storage, with wooden benches and tables and enamelware.
Highly recommend it is a great place worth visiting!

Had the smoked trout salad.. unfortunately it must not of been washed well as the lettuce was gritty and the trout had no smoked flavor at all. The fries were super crisp and yummy but a little on the salty side. Seasonal lime soda was really good and not too sweet so I appreciated that. We also had the beef burger which was cooked really well, a bit pink still and nice house made relish.
I would go back but maybe for happy hour as there were items on the menu only affected during that time and try grilled fish tacos(can order at anytime) next time.. swirl chocolate/vanilla cone was delish! Would go back just for the soft serve!!
Great outdoor seating/atmosphere and staff was really friendly and came around to collect dishes when done. Also dog friendly which I thought nice if you want to bring your k9 family member!

Ordered the Pier 45 on a Tuesday for lunch. Then ordered it again the following Friday for lunch. Found it to be good but inconsistent. Pier 45 on Tuesday had a thicker broth, which I liked. The broth on Friday was watery, which was not as good. The ingredients varied but that was understandable. The Tuesday lunch had more fish and the squid was bigger. The broth however should have been consistent for both days.

The young waiters were so polite and attentive. The calamari taco was delicious. Great presentation. Ice cream machine is an extra touch. A little hidden. It's hard to see from the street. I will definitely go back.
