Absolutely an amazing experience. Try the tasting if you can. It's a great prelude to the tour. The dishes for the tasting will change your mind about how to incorporate vanilla into dishes. Our guide Bryce is knowledgeable, personable and entertaining while he discusses vanilla and Hawaiian agriculture. You'll leave understanding and appreciating why vanilla and real vanilla extract cost so much.

We had signed up for the tasting tour, but there was a mix up and we were offered to take a lunch tour…..and so thankful to have done it. The lunch was incredible - an eye opener for the uses of vanilla. Just amazing food.

Everyone we interacted with is passionate about the company - you can see the love and passion they have. From the food, to the tour….just an incredible experience. So glad we took the road less traveled to come here. Absolutely worth the time

We had the lunch and tour with Zachary last week and it was phenomenal. The lunch was well thought, well prepared and satisfying. Zachary was the best tour guide ever. His knowledge and passion for the art of all things vanilla is contagious. Well worth the short drive off the "normal" tourist paths. Would love to hear his presentation again and again. Please, take this tour if you can! It is very informative and Zach, the Vanilla Evangelist, will convert you into a vanilla lover in less than an hour. There is so much more to vanilla than I new of before I went on this tour! The history of the facility was also very interesting. The ice cream and coffee afterward was phenomenal! Really enjoyed this tour. 10 stars!!!!

Our family of five loved the experience. We did the full lunch and tour. They made a vegetarian lunch for my kids and I. The host/guide was excellent and kept us all engaged (not easy with teenage girls learning about vanilla). The only negative is the expense but, because it’s a small family-run operation I felt good about it.

My husband and I had the pleasure of experiencing the Hawaiian Vanilla Company’s lunch, and it was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm, inviting, and infused with the enticing aroma of vanilla. The food was incredible – each dish thoughtfully prepared with a unique touch of vanilla that brought out incredible flavors. The farm tour was a fantastic addition, offering fascinating insights into the vanilla-growing process. Zach was an amazing host and educational tour guide and it was amazing to learn about such a cool plant from someone so passionate about it. If you’re looking for a delicious and educational culinary adventure, this is a must-visit!

The tasting expanded my understanding and appreciation for the versatility of vanilla. I wish I’d taken pictures of the samples. They alone were worth the price of admission.
Bryce’s course on the history of vanilla and agricultural in general, during the tour of the growing area, ended up being my highlight of the morning.
What started as a curiosity, ended up being one of our favorite stops while visiting the Big Island.
I forgot to mention Daylen, quietly making things happen in the background.
