Very few producers put the quality of care into raising their chickens as we have observed from Hawkins Homestead Farm. They are knowledgeable and experienced and this is reflected in the quality of the products. We buy organic chickens & eggs from them ONLY! Taste is superb! We have found that their wheelhouse also includes growing a unique variety of organically grown, healthy, and tasty vegetables. You will not be disappointed. As long as they are in the market they will have our support!

While in Dothan, AL opening a new rental car location, I had the opportunity to stay at Hawkins Homestead Farm. Wow! What an amazingly interactive and educational experience. My family and I were invited to feed and water the chickens; ride a lawn mower, assist with the relocation of the chicken coop, learn to take down a fence, chop down and burn trees, and learn from the owners, Brandon and Rachel many more farming/gardening tips that we can take back to Las Vegas, NV with us that will help with our small garden. Us city-folk, HAD A BLAST! If you get the chance to stay in Dothan or are just driving through, I HIGHLY recommend that you stop by and grab you and your family some of their tasty organic vegetables, fruits, chickens and eggs. I promise, you'll be HAPPY you did!!
