Have always stopped at this stand when we were in town. Each time we have stopped, we noticed it has gone downhill. This time was no different. I purchased 2 avocados, 3 Cara Cara oranges, 1 hot house cucumber, strawberries, and orange marmalade. The avocados were brown inside although they were still hard and not ripe yet. The oranges were very dry (not juicy whatsoever) and the cucumber was soft. I haven't opened the marmalade yet, I'm kind of afraid to. The strawberries were very nice, juicy and sweet. So basically I feel like I paid $22. for 1 basket of strawberries. As I was paying (I paid with cash) the cashier couldn't count the change that I gave her. She counted it THREE different times even though I told her how much it was. I gave her more than it costs, but she gave me no change. I told her how much change there was (she counted it again) and still counted it wrong. She didn't give me my change and shut the cash register. I told her that it was okay, "to keep my change" and walked away. It wasn't worth it to me trying to explain that she couldn't count. This is the last time that I'm going there. P.S. Their prices are higher than local farmers markets.

Really friendly and helpful staff. Cute farm stand with a big variety. Unfortunately the quality wasnโ€™t great. I bought a cucumber, strawberries, lettuce and radishes.

Absolutely great vegetables, prices are better than Vons. They make home made jams and lots more. Highly recommended to everyone who comes to the five cities as the best place to get fruits and vegetables locally.

This place is really cute with parking out front and directly on highway one (1) near several farms. They are open daily from 10am to 5:30pm and have all your produce needs. My roommate wanted to get some phresh berries and avocados and couldn't wait for Thursdays farmer's market in SLO so we came here on a warm Sunday afternoon. The space is small, yet clean and well stocked. They are known for their strawberries and flowers, but carry everything from dressings and vinaigrettes to jellies, preserves, organic nuts, several kinds of honey and phresh vegetables.

Prices here are much better than your local grocer. You get more bang for your buck with fruit baskets starting at $4 and avocados under $2. Being in a heavy Latino community, most fruit stand owners/workers here speak mostly Spanish and thus did not make a serious effort to converse with us so it's best to practice simple Spanish phrases to interact and build rapport with the employees.
.
If you're on the road in the central coast and want healthy snacks that don't cost an arm and a leg, stop here. They also vend at San Luis Obispo's farmer's market on Thursday evenings from 6pm-9pm!
