I hate leaving such a bad review since last time I was there which was a few years ago, it was great and so was preferred to be taken there with this recent episode. Without giving out personal boring health info, I was there because i consistently kept passing out. I remember being in and out of consciousness at the scene of my event, in the ambulance, and at the arrival of the hospital. Over 3 hours of consistently losing consciousness. Finally, I had a moment of lucidity and asked my male nurse, don’t know his name) if I could use the restroom. He pointed directions that it was past nurses station and walked off. I thought that odd given my situation. Once I got back to my room and back in bed I wanted to ask for a blanket but there wasn’t a nurses button but fortunately found one on my own. This action of moving around I felt my IV fall out, it was in my hand but not hooked to any fluids. Blood went everywhere and I must’ve fallen right back out again. I do know the same nurse came in afterwards and checked on my monitor but I was too out of it to say anything. My daughter at some point was able to get to my room and was instantly angered by the chaotic mess of my room, trash, blood and my IV needle laying all over the floor. She tried to get someone to talk to but no one was around. She was very upset and just wanted to get me out of there with good reason especially when I told her I was left alone to get to the ladies room on my own. As we were about to walk out of my room, the male nurse finally showed up and when she said we are leaving and the reasons why, he very sarcastically said, “no problem, let me get the form.” It was a horrible experience! The ambulance personal were amazing, one even stuck his head in the door to ask how I was doing!! PS, I never even saw a doctor, I’m sure one had to have seen me when I came in unconscious but none after.

Absolute worst hospital I’ve ever been to! Where to begin? The filth or the lack of CARE! The patients get!

Nurses trying to tell me the blood all over his sheets was GRAPE JUICE! Seriously? Did not want to do their job and provide clean sheets.

Not to mention the AC unit breaking twice in one week!! Freezing their patients! You lay in a room that’s 66’, with the thin blankets!

My loved one has been there 11 days today— NOT A SINGLE BATH! NO PHYSICAL THERAPY- As stated four days ago now.

The list goes on!!! If you have a loved one! Please do not choose this hospital if you want proper care! THEY I PROMISE YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE IT!

I’m appalled at this hospital! A select few nurses have been phenomenal! The others need to get off of their phones, away from their stations & check on patients! I was there 4 hours before ANYONE came in his room. Yet, they come a zillion times— night shift!! I RECOMMEND MORE HELP, MORE NURSES TO TEND TO PATIENTS. YOU HAVE A CHARGE NURSE, THAT IS ALSO A FLOOR NURSE. WTH?

THIS HOSPITAL SHOULD BE ASHAMED!

Very well organized protocols. Staff extremely helpful in assisting with questions and completing registration forms in OUT PATIENT Services area. Even the Valet Parking Personnel went out of their way to assist in getting our walkers out of the hatch back of our SUV and then placing them back inside the vehicle when we left. The most professional, helpful, pleasant, patient, kind, courteous and friendly individual in the Out Patient Services area was Kim, at the Radiology Records desk in that lobby. She truly went out of her way to be supportive of our needs to retrieve the CD & Case Records for a test that was performed recently. I would like to know that she receives recognition for going over and above what her job description details should involve - under very stressful, demanding, pressured, customer service requirements. While waiting for my husband, I observed her politely and pleasantly, smilingly - yet firmly - deal with an individual on an issue. I am a retired Human Resource Director with 30 years experience and was in admiration of her skillful handling of the situation. KUDOS TO KIM (and a PAY INCREASE !) Thank You and God Bless.

The honesty of staff is incredulous in our current times. I stupidly left my phone in the CT scanner room while being helped into my powered wheelchair when it was time to leave. This wonderful young woman, I think her name was Jan, took it to the front desk, and while my caregiver drove all the way back, they never left it out of their sight, thus protecting all the info that would be devastating to me in the wrong hands. Thank you, thank you.
This was my first time at Bayonet Point hospital. All staff were polite, helpful and professional. Everyone organized. They all get A plus session in my book!! Keep up the good work. You ARE appreciated.

I appreciate that my nurse tried once, and sent for the ultrasound technologist to get my IV started. That made it so much easier for me. Everyone was kind and helpful. The doctor had more exams ordered, after my cath lab procedure. I appreciate not having to come back another day.

DO NOT GO TO BAYONET HOSPITAL---------DO NOT
I am writing to you as a patient who was just released on Wednesday, May 7 , 2025 from Bayonet Hospital. I have not received a survey so I thought this would be a good place to start. I was admitted on Monday, May 5 for a heart ablation around 8am. with Dr. Dashan Patel, this was a 4-hour procedure that if anyone knows about heart ablations it’s a pretty standard procedure. The procedure went find it was what happened after that kept me in the hospital until late Wednesday. Once I was brought to recovery I had blurred vision in my left eye. The doctor called for a neurologist to check me out. He suggested that I have an artery scan and also a brain MRI. Thank God all came back good. They thought possibly I had a stroke during the procedure. Once I was brought to my room this is where the patient care went downhill and fast. My right arm started swelling like a balloon to find out the nurse who had placed my intravenous had gone through the vein and I was having fluids going into my arm. This took a day of ice packs and warm packs to release these fluids. Also, my husband had to get a nurse to check it our. I was ringing the buzzer and no one was showing up. They had to place two stiches in my groin area in which the nurse said needed to be removed 2 hours after my procedure. I questioned why would you do this since I just had the surgery and the stiches are there to close the opening. So, I agreed then when I got up to walk 45 minutes later I started bleeding from the artery. That’s when my husband ran and got a nurse. They said I needed to lay flat and put pressure against the incesion. I had to lay flat for the rest of the day. Blood was all over the floor and my bed and all they did is walked around the blood for hours before it was cleaned up. Also, on my bed was blood and they just threw a sheet on top and made me lay in a bed with blood. My external cathada was leaking in my bed. The nurses ignored me when I said I was lying in my own waste. I asked for ice water 3x's since my throat was so dry. After 4 hours a nurse came in and said "what?" like I was asking for something special. All I needed was water and ice.

In speaking with one of the nurses who is a resident nurse at Bayonet that they pay these travelling nurses more money than the resident nurses which is sooooooo wrong.

Something needs to be done in our medical system. Something needs to happen at Bayonet Hopital. I’m not saying all travelling nurses are bad, but I think if you’re in a ward where you’re having a procedure, they should have a little compassion and that was not the case. I was also told that Bayonet is a hospital where they care about their patient. It certainly wasn't proven by the care I received.

I have spoken with many people who have had situations like myself and have never reported it. Something needs to happen.

Please feel free to call me with further detail.

I've been a patient many times here. And all that I can say is that this hospital and especially the staff really go beyond the great service that they provide. Making your stay as comfortable as possible. They will in some cases go beyond their duties to make you feel at home. Their input and output processing is just fantastic. The rooms are kept spotless, the lobby is relaxing to the eye, ( gives you the feeling like a resort ) and the reception process is rather quick. If you have to choose a hospital, choose Bayonet Point.

We had a very good experience. The doctors and nurses in the ER and in ICU were wonderful. Very kind, knowledgeable and patient and took great care of my brother. With the exception of the EXTREMELY rude neurologist who walked in the room the first time with no introduction and starting being rude then walked out and was never seen or heard from again.
