Absolutely wonderful way to support local business and grown on Oahu trees! We love the different varieties of trees they have, not just your standard Christmas tree. They have all shapes and sizes, and make the whole process super easy! They're a little pricier than your big box store, but I'd much rather pay that for a locally grown tree!

Great way to support local products on Oahu and in Hawaii. The prices are better than those shipped from the mainland. Norfolk Pine can regrow form main stem! They walk with you to cut the tree. Great family fun.

Locally grown Christmas trees: Norfolk pine and Cypress. You could choose any trees on the farm or pre-cut trees that they have already trimmed. They wrap the tree and put in on your car for you. Reasonable price. You pay $60 for a 5’ or 6’ tree. Would be a great experience to bring kids along to show them a Christmas tree farm!

Had an amazing experience picking out a Norfolk pine for this year's Christmas tree. Our helper Larry did an awesome job finding us exactly what we wanted. We'll be back next year!

This is our second year tree hunting at Helemano Farms and my family and I enjoy the outing. Fast and friendly service. We went at 10 am when they opened the Sunday after Thanksgiving. It was not crowded at all and there were parking lot attendants guiding customers on where to park. Our Cypress tree is by far the best fresh cut tree we’ve ever had and we’re from the Pacific Northwest where there are many tree farms. You stand in line and wait for assistance, you’re asked what type of tree and height, they walk you over to the type of tree requested, and then it’s up to you and your family to choose the tree. They color code the trees and tag them with the price clearly visible. We asked if we could cut the tree ourselves, but our guide turned us down for safety reasons and policies, which is understandable. We asked a lot of questions and our guide answered all proficiently. He took our picture with the tree before he chopped it down. I got the family’s video carrying the tree off. Our guide wrapped the tree in a net and waited while we paid for the tree, then carried it to the car. The most stress free tree hunting experience of my life. My husband and I were with our 2 children (7 and 13 years old). Our kids had a great time. Cons: They don’t have a tree shaker to shake out any bugs or critters from the tree, so I suggest you do that outside before you bring the tree inside your house. Pros: Everything else. A great Christmas family tradition.

Larry, our helper, was fantastic. He has been helping out at the farm for 16 years. He is wealth of information. We truly enjoyed picking out our tree.
