I purchased the andy from another local store but it is not the same as it used to be. The texture is different than it was years ago. Its more like peppermint candy canes now not the softer stick candy we used to love. It still tastes good but I won't be purchasing this because it is just not as good.

Five stars for surviving the business world doing things the same old fashioned way for 100 years! Survived the Great Depression and multiple stock market and realestate crashes! I live in Bristol, a few miles from manufacturer. This candy is sold local and online and probably places I’m not aware. It’s old school. Old school never fades out of time.

I bought 4 boxes of the Horehound stick candy, I have always bought this kind.. this was old and very nasty, nothing like I had gotten before.. I called and the man told me it was always nasty tasting, I tried to tell him it wasnt edible, but he insisted its good for ten yrs.. I will Never buy this again from Helms Candy Company.. bad customer service..
