We consulted Hermanos Flores Gardening for a yard drainage problem, and to add rock to several ground areas. At the initial consult Alex evaluated issue and gave us several options to address it within our budget. The a detailed estimate was very reasonable for the work to be done.He and his crew arrived on time and worked diligently to complete the project. They showed up on time, did exactly what we hired them for, they left our place spotless. Alex also took great care to match our existing stones. We are very pleased with the final results. The drainage system works great and landscape is perfect. Alex also returned a few days later by appointment , and patiently addressed a few more questions we had. Extensive yard cleanup including dead heading +100 feet of ~15 foot tall oleander hedge, removing ~20 feet of box hedge, 4 large lawn grass areas, removing dead plants from 14 large raised beds and hauling away all the debris.

Alex agreed to come to my home 45 minutes from his usual service area to discuss the job and to provide an estimate. He arrived promptly and we walked around my yard going over all the areas that required clean up. He provided a verbal estimate and we agreed to the job for a few weeks out. Alex and his team called me when he was on his way to my home the morning of our appointment. He arrived on time with his crew of five men. We walked through the areas again briefly and then they got started. The team completed the job in 4.5 hours and they really exceeded my expectations. All clean up areas were perfect and the job was done in such a quick fashion. I am very happy with the work done and will be a repeat customer.

We have a large front yard and, due to the drought, lost 5 beautiful mature birch trees that had been in a raised bed. It took years and several companies to help remove and incrementally grade the piles of dirt. After inviting landscaping bids, we chose Alex and his team for a combination of price and his vision that manifested our ideas for what we wanted: planter boxes and eco landscaping.

Our property had a lot of challenges to overcome. "Dirty" dirt was hauled off and replaced with four beautiful planter boxes along a green belt. There were ongoing irrigation problems, from a big underground leak to minor irrigation mistakes. Alex made good faith efforts to find and repair each problem. In the end, the transformation that Alex facilitated was worth the comparatively minor problems that cropped up. We feel that we could call on him for additional guidance, as needed.

We have a Little Free Library out front, and more than one neighbor has shared choosing the adjacent greenbelt path to enjoy our beautiful garden area. We found Alex to be sincere in wanting the best for us and our yard. We've worked with myriad arborists, landscapers and graders in transitioning our yard from trees to piles of dirt to a garden. All in all, Hermosa Flores Gardening offers something special.
