I've been coming to Hicks Commercial Sales since 2011. It is a great resource for NYC landscapers that is closer than most other trade nurseries, has quality inventory, is competitively priced and has a wonderful staff. While the organization has gone through some transitions over time, the team has always been loyal, professional and understanding of what it takes to run a small business. Tom Varelas has been our trusted account manager for years, but all team members, including Linda, Pat, Kyle, Cesar and Jodi, are great to work with. Highly recommend.

I have been dealing with the crew over at Hicks Commercial for many years now. Tom V and the rest of the staff are not only helpful and expeditious in dealing with customers, but are also very well informed on their product. They just make things easy for their commercial side customers. Great staff to match great product. Highly recommend.

The way I remember it as a child. Now I can bring my daughter and have her meet Otto and she loved her day. She got a pumpkin and got to run around and enjoy the scenery. A wonderful family day. Thank you Hicks for keeping the fun alive for kids of all ages.

Super helpful from directions to plants and helping load and secure. I was going further out long island to nursery row when I client wanted something specific and suggested Hicks. I thought they were only retail and was pleased to find a huge selection here.

It's a beautiful store. Love the set up & decor no matter what season they set up for. Pricey, but excellent plants, decorations & other seasonal items.

Especially love the Christmas set up, so many places to take photos with family, children & friends or just of their work of art.

Do miss the coffee shop but Covid killed that!

A good selection of houseplants, but every time I come here, the front end supervisor, Jodie, is incredibly rude. I understand it is crazy busy but I don't see that as an excuse to be blatantly rude to customers. Every time I have an encounter with her, it makes me never want to come back. Unfortunately, the good selection of plants keeps me coming back. The prices are also higher than competitors for most of their houseplants and annuals/perennials.
