Hill Farmstead is my all time favorite brewery! It’s well worth the drive and beautiful in every season, but especially late summer/early fall. Service is always excellent, even when it’s really busy and there’s a line out the door. I wish I lived closer so that I could visit more often.

Definitely worth the trip. It's a little out of the way but the beer, and staff were great.
Went on their anniversary weekend so to say that it was busy is an understatement. They had special beers that only come out rarely, and which were great, so the queue was worth it. The staff were really nice (and patient) despite it being so busy.
We'll have to go back when it's not an anniversary to compare, but it is without question worth the trip.

Hill Farmstead brewery is a mecca for beer lovers and I highly recommend making the pilgrimage here. Many beer enthusiasts consider Hill Farmstead to be the best brewery in the world and, after visiting, it would be hard for me to disagree.
The location in Greensboro Bend, Vermont is a quiet sanctuary nestled in the mountains and a perfect area for leaf peeping in the fall.
The beer varieties are many, so plan on staying a while to taste as many as possible (hopefully you have a dd).
And, set aside some cooler space to take some home or to your next New England destination.
