I recently had the pleasure of working with Chris to fix some drainage issues at my house that caused basement flooding and water pooling all around the property. He was very thorough in his initial consultation, evaluating and providing fixes for all areas of concern as well as ways to gain back functional space of the backyard. I couldn’t be more thrilled with the results. From start to finish, his expertise and attention to detail was evident in every aspect of the project. He installed a new drainage system, removed trees, installed a boulder wall, new walkways, sprinklers, regraded and seeded the entire yard. The drainage system he installed is nothing short of marvel, it manages the water effectively draining away from my home and I no longer have to worry when it rains if my basement will flood. My entire backyard is now functional and no longer a danger to my small children.

I can’t say enough good things about Chris; I am beyond pleased with the work and would recommend Chris in a heartbeat. His professionalism, creativity in problem solving and dedication to quality and perfection is admirable and I couldn’t have imagined a better outcome. He truly cares about his work and his clients and was always available to answer any questions I had throughout the project day or night. Will definitely be using Chris again when we install new landscaping and update the patio.

Every time it rained we would get puddles all over the yard since it was all uneven, water had no place to drain and then some. Very annoying & frustrating. Chris came over, went over in great detail everything that needed to be addressed and gave us a fair estimate. A few weeks later he and his team took care of our yard water drainage issues and leveled the front side/yard side of the house, removed bush roots/stumps and cement stones off the ground. In the pics attached you’ll see before, during, and 5 months later. No more puddles, floods or natures swimming pools. His professionalism, communication, quality of work is highly appreciated and most definitely recommended. He came, he saw and he conquered/fixed.😁. We even think our neighbors owe him a commission since they don’t get floods as they use too..lol. Thank You Chris & Team!

I hired Hillsdale Landscaping & Construction to renovate my 70 eras basement and I’m so happy I chose them among a sea of contractors. Chris took the time to sit with me and discuss in great detail my vision for the basement and how to make it function best for my family. He came up with some great ideas- we ended up replacing flooring, updating a bathroom and rebuilding a kitchen/bar- he even helped me decide on paint colors when I couldn’t choose. He was very attentive to detail and even noticed some potential water issues and fixed those. Chris was so easy to work with- very honest, trustworthy, and knowledgeable, always accessible by phone and very fair in pricing. His execution was FLAWLESS! I couldn’t be happier with his work. Chris has helped us out immensely! Initially Chris came for a broken gutter consultation due to water issues affecting the interior of our home. Chris realized the issue was broken underground drainage pipes that allowed water to pool at the foundation of our home. Chris and his team helped fix our gutter issue and helped us completely eradicate our water issues by creating proper drainage and grading of our property and resealed the foundation on our home to alleviate any possibility of leaks. Chris and his team has also beautifully designed and installed a patio and flower beds in our backyard and applied sod to all areas where work was done. Our backyard looks amazing! Chris was honest and helpful in understanding the issues we were having and the best ways to fix them. He was very fair on pricing and also helped us with our insurance due to the water issues. Chris was here everyday from the first visit to the end result and we really appreciate all the work he did to make our home safe and beautiful!

We hired Hillsdale Landscaping to address a drainage issue in our yard. Water was coming into our yard, flowing right into our foundation and pooling at the front of the house. When Chris first came by, he was able to see the water problems right away and proposed installing a curtain drain to redirect the water. He walked our entire property to find our gutter drainage had issues as well. His inspection was extremely thorough and he was very patient to answer our many questions.

When it came down to getting the job done, Chris was an pleasure to deal with. He and his crew showed up as promised and worked through to completion, checking in with me periodically along the way. When I had an additional request, he was able to figure out how to get it done right away without any complaints. At one point he found a wasps' nest, was able to neutralize it, and left me with a can of wasp killer spray. All the work was completed at the originally quoted price without any nickeling and diming along the way. I am extremely happy with the work and will hire them again for the next outdoor project.
