We had overgrown hedges both at the front and back of the house that needed cutting back and tidying up. We also had a neighbouring tree overhanging and dropping fruit that generated a lot of birds mess and insects.

We had someone over to do a quote and size a the job and team needed to get it done.

We had a team of 4 guys that arrived a little before 8 am. They were very polite and started prepping for the work at 8am. They did an amazing job, even my neighbour commented on how great they were. They were finished by mid afternoon and cleared away all the garden debris, taking it with them. Very professional and knowledgeable about how to deal with each hedge type.

We will definitely use them again. Before, during and after pictures of the work under taken.

Simply the best doesn't even touch the sides when speaking about this company. They are absolutely amazing. Our mature garden suffered a great deal of damage following the extreme cold spell last December, large, mature shrubs were wiped out and the only option was for them to be removed. We struggled to find a gardening company to take this on as the work was going to be hard and most only seemed to want easy jobs. Thankfully we came across Hislop Horticulture who came in last Saturday and cleared everything, digging out all roots and taking the huge amount of rubbish away. The guys who did the job were so hard working and extremely professional, clearing everything up afterwards, they are indeed a credit to the business. All that remains now is for them to return to finish preparing our borders so that we can get on with our planting. We can thoroughly recommend this company, they are a five star organisation.

Our initial meeting was with James, who explained patiently and professionally about the removal of quite a few tree stumps that needed to be removed from around the outside of our house, along with a very high bush that also needed trimming down.

Martin arrived promptly to carry out the work for us on Thursday 22nd April 2021. We wish to send him our huge thanks and appreciation for his incredible skills and knowledge and the outstanding work he produced for us, in a very friendly and helpful manner!

I’ve got to the age where I would rather get people in to carry out the hard jobs around the house.
I needed about 25 old shrubs removed and disposed of.
A leaflet came through the door from Hislop & Co Horticulture, I checked them out and emailed for a quote, had a response from James and within ten minutes the job was booked in for the very next day.
The team arrived nice and early and got stuck in to it straight away, there was a lot of deep roots and plenty of top growth to deal with but the team just kept going until they were all out.
They did a great job and swept up every last bit.
I would 100% recommend them if you need any type of garden work carried out.
