We came across Honolua hot sauce when we were at a farmers market while visiting Maui. The guy was so friendly, and told us his story of making the hot sauce & where all the ingredients were being sourced from. We were able to sample the sauce, and WOW! It is so good, it is unlike any other hot sauce I have had. It is spicy but has the sweet undertones from pineapple. My husband and I love it, we finished our bottle not long after getting home from our trip & have since ordered more.

Hands down my favorite hot sauce at the moment. Not only is the sauce full of flavor and originality but the mission statement is dedicated to one of the most amazing surf breaks on the planet! In addition, partial proceeds of sales are dedicated to local Hawaiian charities. I highly respect the drive and motivation of DIY entrepreneurs being one myself.

Honolua Hot Sauce is hands down one of the best hot sauces I have ever had. Unlike other sauces that are spicy with one dominant flavor, with Honolua Hot Sauce, you can test every ingredient, ranging from sweet to citrusy, with the accompaniment of consistent spice. Additionally, Honolua Hot SauceI is not overtly viscous, and with every pour, you can visibly distinguish the sauce's ingredients. I personally pair mine with eggs, chicken, tacos and potatoes. If you are looking for an authentic, healthy, and incredibly delicious hot sauce absent of any misleading ingredients, I highly recommend Honolua Hot Sauce!

As as self-proclaimed hot sauce connoisseur, I was skeptical of this first time saucier.

Boy was I wrong, this sauce is by far the most unique and delicious sauce I have tried in a long time. It is the most pure and clean sauce on the market. I read a post by the creator on why he doesn’t use xanthan gum in his recipe further proving that his sauce is as clean as it gets.

The combination of the pineapple, habanero, and local Hawaiian chili peppers creates a perfect contrast between slightly sweet and a good kick.
