What an incredible experience at Hook & Reel in Kearny, NJ! It was my first time having a seafood boil and it did not disappoint! The menu was easy to follow and you get a lot of food for the price! Our waiter Cali was very attentive and friendly! He checked on us many times and made sure we had everything we needed! He was fantastic and made us feel so welcomed! Definitely would come again!

My first time coming to this location with friends and family. Katie was a phenomenal help at ensuring our experience was super pleasant, enjoyable, and fun. All of the food was DELICIOUS and the drinks were on point. Katie not only offered professional customer service, but we shared a bunch of laughs and stories together. She definitely anchored the Hook & Reel experience by being an amazing server and we will definitely be returning for her service 💟💟💟

Katie was an amazing server! She went out of her way to engage with us, making great conversation and ensuring we had the best experience. Her personable nature and attention to detail made everything perfect. We ordered the Mega Boil along with some drinks, and everything was absolutely 10/10! We will definitely be coming back!

I've visited this place several times, and each time has been a fantastic experience. The food is absolutely delicious, making it a go-to spot for us. We even chose to come here on a holiday eve, and it did not disappoint!

The drinks are great, and we always find ourselves enjoying the vibrant atmosphere. Sandro, our go-to staff member at the bar is always ready, friendly and helpful suggestions.

The crew is friendly, and it’s a perfect place to watch games, listen to music, and soak in the lively environment. Highly recommend! And THE RUM PUNCH!!!! Just sayin!! Almost done and so good!!! I ate the fruit!! lol

We started going to the Union location and decided to come here for the first time in a long time. We weren’t disappointed. They completely changed the atmosphere and it is so cozy and fun! The food was much more fresh and tasty and the service?! Sam was actually such a warm and kind person. Very attentive and seemed to actually enjoy helping us out, which was also so refreshing. She even got me a refill before I realized I actually did in fact need one. She brought us extra of everything so we felt okay using up napkins, y’all know how it can be. She made the experience that much better and is a reason this is our new favorite location!

First time to hook & reel and I was questioning myself why I haven't ever been here before. The H&R sauce for the boil was so tasty and it absolutely complimented the seafood. Scallops and shrimp on the boil was perfectly cooked and 1 lb was plentiful for 2 ppl. There's a wide array of drinks and desserts to choose from as well. Overall I think it's a great place to come in for anyone who likes seafood

My wife was craving crab and she googled this place. It was a bit of a ride but the experience here was 5 stars all around! We ordered the crab feast for 2 which was around $150 and it sure came with a lot of food and 3 diff types of crabs. Our server Kathleen recommend us to go with Cajun and it was probably the best cajun seasoning we had in the East coast. Amazing tasting crab & co, great vibing spot that is spacious and clean, and awesome service by Kathleen throughout our stay. My wife was super happy, and I am happy. Strong recommend!
