The reason its busy is bc the meat is good and the staff are helpful. This place isn't about frilly aesthetics. It smells like a butchers shop, but they'll probably be able to get you that cut of meat you've been looking for. You can also get made to order sandwiches.

It's the best place to buy your meats!! Not anymore expensive than the supermarket and the meat is way better. If they don't have it ask them and they will get it for you! Cold cuts are a great price and the bread from Old Town bakery is the best. Don't sleep on the banana nut bread either. The people there are awesome and very helpful. The wine and garlic anything is good especially the chicken. The cattleman steaks are an extremely great value for the price as well. Try everything here it is great and don't forget to take a big bone home to your dog!

Don’t listen to the 1 star reviews from snobby people with their head up their butt! This place is AMAZING! The Butchers, Workers & customer service is professional and very helpful & kind. I always come here during lunch for their well known Tri Tip Sammich 😍 it never disappoints! I’ve taken 2 of my friends to try it & my father and they all loved the Tri Tip. The Prices of their cuts are very good and affordable for the amazing quality you get! 4 fresh natural rib eye steaks for $40 and some change, you can not beat that. Once again I don’t understand these angry reviews from angry people. Take it from a local I highly recommend this Butcher Shop & it makes me never want to have any other meat shop from some average grocery store. As for the angry reviewers complaining about the how expensive it is (it’s not expensive) go to food 4 less. I LOVE Hottinger Family Meats. Feels like home. ❤️

This meat market is always busy because it's that good! Best frozen fries and chicken jalapeño sausages. The only place to get a Nebraska tri tip this good!
