I just happened to be traveling past Prospect Park when I decided to make a detour to check out HTG. Conveniently located right off I-95! I'd been looking for a hydroponics shop to avoid ordering from Amazon and this place fit the bill. The 2 gentleman working were very helpful in answering my questions and made a recommendation for their "stump tea" that I'm super excited to use! I look forward to stopping in again for that gargantuan perlite that I can't find anywhere else. Also, I loved all their plants on display!

Very nice place I bought some stuff for hydroponic bucket system that guy explained everything to me almost educated me about light nutrition etc. I was finding that place by Google. Other day I pick up some stuff again they recognize me and they provide some nutrition mix. You can get some water bottle freefrom there. They put some red chilies also you can have some so I picked some different different kinds of chilies they are amazing. I love this place I will go back if I need anything for hydroponic system. They suggest me some lights to grow inside my house and it’s good.

The staff at this location is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. I can't tell you how many times I've gone in there, told them my ideas, and have them simplify my plan to save me money. They're the only store I go to now because rather than trying to profit from me, they try to help me succeed. I won't even use Amazon for stuff I need anymore because through Amazon you don't get the knowledge these guys provide. Always super friendly, comfortable environment, and pretty good prices too. I highly recommend going here for all of your gardening needs.

Great, knowledgeable staff. Did not make us feel stupid when we asked 100 questions. Excellent customer service! Reminds me of the old days, where locally owned small businesses really took care of you. They are on a first name basis with you the minute you walk in. Offered us cold water on a hot day. W didn't end up buying anything that day, yet they still have us complimentary lighters, magnets, and research materials. Thank you guys! You've let us know that the idea of customer service is not extinct!!! Come shop at HTG if you want to feel a sense of community, and be treated with dignity and respect.

Great place, always good stock. Fast online shipping in tri state area as well. Responsive customer support too! All around a great company. Their netpot bucket lids are top notch even with shipping their prices are lower than competitors.
